For clarification again - while the 4090/80 FE looks to PHYSICALLY fit, I don't think cables will - so it's a likely avoid if going for the bigger FE cards :(

I need a little clarification on something you missed. Are those holes on the back sized for standard watercooling bulkhead fittings? If so, that's A LOT smarter than the rubber grommets everyone still puts on for passing soft tubing through, especially for a case the could benefit from a separate watercooling rig(reservoir, pump, massive radiators)

I'm glad to see ITX cases with ATX PSU support! It's one less thing you have to pay the ITX tax on if you're coming from a bigger form factor! You get your motherboard and case, spend more on a SSF PSU later on.

Nice build. This is actually the 3rd review I have seen for this case so I have in fact seen it before. One thing to point out is while the 4080 FE actually fits in the case there isn't enough room to plug in power cables and have the side panel on, even 90 degree ones are too tall.

I went with an unknown case called “cryptone”, it cost 20$ and fits only LP cpu cooler like noctu nh-l9 and single fan GPU (i had the low profile 1050ti from zotac that fit amazingly), for cpu i went with ryzen 3600. The build is soooo small and amazing looking. It wis generally used for media viewing & slight FIFA & GTAV playing so no need for more powerfull GPU yet, looking forward to get a used single fan 3060ti tho.

This case has the same sort of profile as the old Razer Core egpu enclosure I used for several years, with vertical gpu mounting, and mesh side-walls, just a bit larger.

Hi, I've seen both this video and your Fractal Terra build and they were great to watch and very informative. But I was wondering if an ITX build that can easily do between 1440p @ 144hz to 4k @ 60Hz be possible with a $1000 budget? The other reason the temps went up on the GPU with the case flipped face down is the cooling for the 7900xtx was not made with that orientation in mind. There have been several tests with the gpu normal, vertical, I/O up, and I/O down with the I/O up orientation always resulting in temperature spikes

I did look at the Cooler Master NR200P, in the end I picked up the "D", I use air cooling, room is 70F I think that is 22C, my system runs normal 47c and gaming 54c, do like the mesh uniformity of "D" , but I wish the mod for Matx was included, it runs much cooler than my H1, Vcore 1 and T100

Nice to see the 7900xtx.. i just ordered the Red Devil 7900xtx to put in my 13600K build 48 Gb DDR5 7000Mhz ram. cant wait to play around with it. :D a 750W psu for the 7900xtx Meeh you need at least 850W one might even argue that 900watt is about sufficient!

Change the rad fans to exhaust and lay the case on the right side. Make sure you elevate it off the table.

Some GPUs really don't like to be vertical mounted with their io facing up. It may drastically reduce the heatpipes' efficiency.

xtx hotspot temp is fine up too 110c according to AMD...also you may have got better temps having the AIO exhaust air...

Amd's website says 800w recommended, id go with the evga supernova 850w sfx psu. That xtx can pull some power, ive heard of it hitting 550w+ alone during gaming at stock

I would use a 1000 watt personally. Even with a 850 watt my 7900 xtx would crash at times with power spikes. The 1000 watt psu fixed it

800 is the reccomended minimum, but this SHOULD be fine as the cpu and board are much less powerful than say, a 13900k and atx

Excellent build as usual, Marcus! Those temps are too high for me... I love SFF pcs, but I think they are suited to mid tier hardware. I wonder if a couple slim fans would help bring those temps down.

You have to undervolt both CPU and GPU. You HAVE TO! ITX is not for just anyone. You have to be comfortable with undervolting. If you are a plug and play user then ITX is not for you. I'm running a 3080 with an i7 12700k air cooled. Max CPU temp is 70ºC and GPU 65ºC when using ray tracing, otherwise neither go above 65ºC. Amazing aesthetics, performance and quiet at the same time🤌. Give it a try.

I just recently watched a KZbinr build a water cooled PC with massive copper heat pipes on the outside to maximise cooling and he made it waterproof. When he finished building it, he submerged it into his garden pond. The temps were out of this world, considering the 4090 and I9-13900KS that the PC has in it. Under max load the temps were under 40⁰C! Ridiculous but awesome. 👌🏽😄
