I made this chicken tonight for our supper. I've been threatening to for a long while. I had a great work week and got the ingredients and made it, step by step, just like you did, Seonkyoung Longest, down to the kewpie mayonnaise. First thing my son said was, "Wow, why haven't you made this before?!". I used 4 thighs and it made more than enough. It was delicious!!!! I also served it with Jasmin brown rice and an egg roll. Now, we have "Asian At Home", too! Thank you for the video and this delicious recipe! Yum!!!

I used to live in Japan when I was younger and I really, really liked the fried chicken (authentic Japanese food is just good in general). No matter where you went, it was always good! I never cared for gas station/convenient store food, but Lawson blew my mind as a kid! I can't wait to try this out!

Hi Seonkyoung, I like your recipes very much and have tried some of them. For example, I did the General Tso Chicken but instead of frying it in oil I did it in an Airfryer. The result was awesome, but I would like to know what you think about using Airfryers for your recipes. And one other question: What do you do with the used oil?

Hi Seonkyoug, I love your videos and have been subscribed to your channel for at least a year and a half now. This Japanese Chicken recipe looks great but I hate to waste so much oil which is why I never fry at home. Is it safe to put the used oil in the refrigerator after it cools down and use it again or do you have to throw it out?
