The reason for putting Sake is to remove the smell of meat. If you cannot use alcohol, please add more ginger.

I had to laugh at "I couldn't find ginger so I will use onion." In Japanese, "no ginger" is the same as "it can't be helped". So "shoga nai" is "shoga nai".

Im Japanese. Karrage is a very popular dish in Japan. If it is a Japanese restaurant It’s a menu at almost every restaurant,so l want everyone to come to Japan to come it. It's very delicious😋😋

@@rieinnn onigiri are so delicious! They sell them in the 7/11 stores in Japan for example and they are really tasty. But they have also added them to the stores here in Germany lately and they are also not bad either. So maybe you'll even be able to find a good onigiri version where you live :)

If you are worried about all the popping you can get a mesh cover for the pan. It also keeps the oil from splashing everywhere. Love this channel. I always wanted to know how to do karaage my friends at college that were exchange students used to make this for me and takoyaki too.

I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did!! I currently have a 6 month old baby girl and it's hard to find time to cook. I love how simple this recipe is, and therefore easy to make with a little one! Usually with fried chicken you have to go back and forth between the flour and egg and make a big mess... I love how it's all done in a bag here. So much easier!

I've just really started learning how to cook to help my mom out in the kitchen since she works. I tried this recipe and it was so good! My mom loved it! Definitely subscribing and trying out more of her recipes. Also, the adorable baby is a bonus XD

Love your vlogs with Sutan. You’re very relatable to moms like me. This is also me when I’m in the kitchen cooking. My baby is 22 months old so what he does is he goes to the kitchen & pulls me to get out of the kitchen so I can play & be around him. It’s cute but soo hard to get things done. Lol

Just want to say, thank you so much! I am from Hawaii, and there is a store, Holidaymart, Daie and now Don Quijote, well they have always had a kitchen in the back of the Honolulu store with the most amazing delicious Chicken Karaage and for 20 years I have been trying to make the one they sell. Yours was it! It is/was a wet batter I just got done making it and it is like being back home in Honolulu. I can not thank you enough for sharing your recipe with all of us. And P.S. I just tried this today and it was delicious! My picky 2 year old son usually doesn’t like eating anything but today, he ate so much chicken and kept saying “moreeee chicken!” It was so yummy. Thank you so much for the recipe and easy instructions to follow :) 😍😍

Moe san, I must say your cooking is so nice and simple (or at least you make it so). I love how you just show the truth. You make a mistake and you don't edit your videos. That is how it is. I love her to death. I find myself smiling non stop watching her talk, act, helping you, etc. Thank you for sharing great and positive vibes to the world. You deserve to get millions viewers. Videos like this need to be spread and this is a good example of how a family should be. Again, thank you for not being "shy" and sharing your family's lives with the rest of the world.
