I’m going to throw another one out there that I think will be very useful. A pilots flight logbook. I am a pilot and I have an official logbook that I use for logging flight time as required by the FAA. However, I think it would be useful to have a personal logbook to keep track of the flight, the aircraft used, the people that were on the trip, the destinations, the route of the flight, any Weather hazards along the route notes about the airport at the departure and destination. Fuel prices, etc. I’m quite sure there is a market for this each page could have fun facts, or trivia at the bottom in the footer section.

This is great advice. A year ago I started publishing logbooks on kdp and with only around 10 books I make £20-60 a month. I’ve never placed an ad or had a month without sales. I started in February. Of course my first book was a cursing coloring book. Posted it on my Facebook page, and it's selling. It's not great though. I've done two more. The 2nd one, I went over to fivver (?) and paid $20 bucks for a cover. The 3rd one is still in review. While waiting, I created an online/subscription tracker. Again, waiting for the review process. I also tried my hand at 3 composition books, same design, different colors. They were just published. Being an artist for most of my adult life, I assumed this would be so easy. I was wrong. So much to learn. Keywords, categories, software, etc. I think my first big mistake was creating journals with dreadful covers. I've had to re-create the covers several times. I'm not giving up, even though there have been some tears. I have to remember to get up and walk away from my laptop. I get so gung-ho that I don't come up for a breather: Resulting in less-than quality results.

Great content. Just subscribed. BUT… 2 questions. 1. Why would you present your own niche that makes you money to others. It just creates more competition for you. Not accusing you but most of the time KZbinrs start presenting their niches when those niches no longer make them money. So they switch to presenting a low value niche to their KZbin audiences. 2. You mentioned not to do a dinosaur book but in one of your other videos you are showing people how to make a book for the exact niche you tell people not to go in to. Again, great content and I think you present really good stuff. I’d just like to know your position on those 2 questions since I’ve seen it so many times from other KZbinrs.

I'm not in a lot of these niches. I have so much work to do I don't have the resources to do them all. I create the videos on niches because I enjoy it, I know the market very well, they provide value and most of my audience enjoy them too. The video is on how to use AI as a technique to create coloring books. I chose dinosaur just an example. It's not a video instructing you to go out and create dinosaur coloring books.
