I have a sculpt and love it. The part I like the most is the delete key - it's not small, but the perfect position for the third finger. I wish Microsoft would re-issue one with Bluetooth functionality.

for what I know they don´t even make this keyboard anymore, which is a pity. I have daily driven one for about 8 years now (actually two, one at home and one at work!) and found it absolutely great. Only the stupid dongle (which if lost, renders everything unusuable and you have to buy a complete new kit) and the fact that it is not programmable have made me switch to a ZSA Voyager which I have been using for the past week and I am starting to love: ergonomically speaking, I still think the Sculpt is the best! I hope microsoft brought the sculpt back and I hope standard keyboards were also programmable. After you get to know them, I think it is going to be very hard to go back to a ¨dumb" one.

If you can, stock on these. Microsoft announced it will stop making accessories other than those for the Surface line. This is a great keyboard, one of the best from MS.

Hopefully they make a second gen that’s compatible with the Mac. It’s seriously the best ergonomic keyboard you can find.

Still using my MS Ergo4000 after 20+ years, I'm on my third one with a fourth one new in box just in case. It might not be compact like this one, but I find it troubling to type on a normal keyboard, I'm always making mistakes. Not sure if it's just because I'm so used to this ergo style or what, but I'm constantly correcting my errors on a normal keyboard. I also like that my left hand sits more naturally when I'm playing FPS games instead of tilted and crunched at a weird angle or that I don't have to turn the keyboard to make it more natural feeling.

That makes sense. Especially if you’re switching between a keyboard at home and work.

@@otfocus And that's exactly what it is. They aren't even full sized keyboards, they're just a bit smaller (cheap ones that came with the new workstations)

great keyboard ... would be better if there where some thumbkeys so you can have a layer and then move the arrow keys under you fingers.

Sorry to be "that guy" but you explained "Ulnar deviation" wrong at 1:30. What you displayed with your hands and drawn arrows is called "radial deviation" and is of no concern in keyboard ergonomics. Ulnar deviation however happens when the wrist is twisted towards the outer side of the forearm and is a common cause of pain when using a keyboard.

Ah yes, you’re right. I don’t know what I was thinking. Thank you for the clarification.
