I am looking for this amp. Dont you need a loadbox like othsr amps? Or is the line out desinged so you dont need one? Only a audio interface? Great sounds you made. Love it

I’ve been doing similar but actually using the fx send out of the valve amp into the interface to avoid my bugeras emulated 1x12 or4x12 line out. That way you can get just a pure valve preamp. Sometimes I do use emulated out as it is so good. But it depends on if I’m wanting a totally uncoloured out but just the magic of the valves.for me the ultimate would be a valve audio interface

Patrick just watched the vid and its great by the way. I came to this vid because ive been TRYING to put together a home studio. Many yrs ago, when i was playing in a band in clubs, i purchased a Tascam 4 track to make recordings of our music. Ive always wanted to have a home studio since then. Ive been gathering different instruments, gear, and a Tascam 24 track to record. I have been loving Supro from afar. The one i want is 1600. I also lust after a Magnatone but im not made of money. Is there amp and cab sim that you would recommend that is the most true to the sound its trying to replicate? Also, do you think Garage Band or Pro Logic is better than what ive got with this 24 Tascam? I think i made a mistake getting that.

My little Fender Vibro Champ XD has a line out, too. I work pretty much like you. But one question... Do you disengage the speaker by pulling off the cable? I used to do that with my Fender... I was lucky my amp didn't blow up because it's strictly forbidden to run a tube amp without a box. I need a power attenuator (if I want to play at headphone level) or I need to build an iso box where I put my amp in to lower the volume. How do you solve that problem? Or do you play with the speaker on?

Hey! So if you want to play completely silent, you need a load box. I have the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X. I like it a lot and it's much more affordable than something like the UAD OX.

Supro Delta King has the line out BEFORE the Power Amp. If the master volume is fully turned down, no sound comes out of the speaker.

Great advice for setup, thanks for sharing🙌🏽 when u record line out to ur interface, how high is the volume on ur Delta? Been trying to do silent recording at home but I don’t get a recording unless the volume on the amp is up higher.

Thanks Baz! In order to go completely silent you need a loadbox. The loadbox will allow you to unplug your speaker, route the amp through the loadbox, then output from the loadbox in to your interface for recording. I use a torpedo captor X from two notes. They also have a less expensive version (Torpedo Captor) for $269, which I think is a great deal for a quality loadbox. Check out either of those!

I just got the Delta King 10 and you can just turn the master volume on the amp to 0 (which makes it silent) but all the rest of the knobs (drive button too) can go to Line In on your PC, which you can play with headphones

Nice amp, when you connect supro to your audio interface directly does it switch off the speaker of supro?another words can you hear the amp itself when you use line out?

Hi Patrick!! I hope you can help me! Hi!! I just received today a Delta King 8. Very happy with the sound, but when I turned it on today, I noticed a small hiss or buzz as soon as I switched on the "stand-by", even with all volumes at 0 and guitar disconnected. Is not very disturbing, but in complete silence, there it is. Could be a defective unit or normal for a valve amp even in this case? Many thanks in advance!!!!

That’s normal for a tube amp on 60 hertz power. Best solution is 1) plug guitar lead into input jack; 2) flip standby switch off; 3) rock out!
