This movie is a cinematic masterpiece. Taking the goofy child-like nature of legos and the making that the representation of the conflict between a father and son, and then the father accepting his son The Lego’s are a crucial component of the father and son’s relationship, and when the father sees the son deviate from his perfect vision, he is at first in conflict with his son, before understanding him and LITERALLY REBUILDING THEIR BOND (AND THE CITY) TOGETHER, reforging their relationship into something new, something better, something……awesome.

the fact that Will Ferrel says "it's a highly sophisticated interlocking brick system" is one of my favourite parts of this movie right next to Vitruvius being a Morpheus parody and dying immediatley after saying "what I will tell you will change the course of history forever"

I literally watched these movies last week- Also lucy and emet are literally the cutest couple ever, the amount of times in the movies where they just kinda understand eachother even with their vastly different opinions and views on the world is way more than i remembered. Also i am offended none of these even MENTIONED least evil queen or whatever it's called as it is way too good than it should be and, dare i say it, is better than everything is awesome.

my sister and I “realized” years after watching that while yeah we enjoyed the movie it is a lil bit goofy, but then we rewatched it recently for kicks and giggles and realized it does a fantastic job at achieving its goal: being a very silly movie for kids. like that isn’t exactly what we said but I lowkey forgor, either way it’s like actually amazing and I love it so much!!

when I tell you this was my childhood… my best memory of this is how i went to the dentist, and for some reason this film was playing?? The whole time I was at the dentist the first movie was just on the ceiling, so that I could watch while getting my teeth brushed. Best dentist visit ever.

i was very into the lego movie as a child, and then when the second one came out i was turning 16 and all i wanted for my birthday was to go see that, and the lego spaceship that stephanie beatriz's character flies. i got it, and it was great, and i still have it, and the spaceship also came with a sticker role to shoot out the front. i love it with my whole heart and soul. also shoutout to the lego ninjago movie for being amazing, i rewatched it recently and i cried a lot because daddy issues!!

I watched "The LEGO Movie" and other LEGO-based movies and TV shows. I love that with LEGO, they don't take themselves seriously, so they constantly break the fourth wall or do some crazy random things that you might not expect, but it's fine because it's LEGO and it doesn't have to make sense.
