Next year! My season is over for a few months. I think my wife Lindsay will be full time Nikon next year, so there will be more content

I bought this lens for a wedding and it YEARNS for more weddings. It is multiple lenses in one, not just a selling point but a tangible fact.

Thanks Taylor for another awesome video and optional product for our photography. Something to consider.

Love videos like this TJ! They are informative and remind me to not let GAS get to me. I have "enough" gear for now....and probably for a very long time to come! lol

I went to Sony because of this lens now Nikon has it. I sold that Sony so fast and got the Z8 with the 105 f2.8 macro and 35-150 f2/2.8 perfect for my style.

Awesome stuff and lens for sure...Taylor just curious if you were to do a two camera setup along with this 35-150..what lens would you like to carry on the other camera?..something wider than a 35? or a 85mm 1.4?..you did mentioned a 20mm and 85 at the beginning..so I guess one of those then on the other camera?...thanks

Great video. Thinking about buying this Tamron or the Sony 24-70 2.8 GM I. Not sure which one will be better. The Gmaster one is great when it comes to photo quality buuuuuut the Tamron has a better range of zoom.

I got the lens for the Z Mount. As an instrument it has a practic range, however, it is not a lens I enjoy using paired with my z8 or z9, it does not produce the same joy when using the native 24-70 f2.8 or 24-120 f4.
@WayneMorrison1069Күн бұрын
Whew! Thanks for your comment. I have the Z9 and was curious on how this would work with it. I have the 24-120 f4 as well and was looking to add this lens. You gave me Something to think about tho. Thanks. 😊

The problem is, the zoom ring is to close to the body and not confortable to hold, among other issues. Have it already 2 months and I am planning to sell it.

This lens was the best piece of camera gear I've ever bought. If they ever make a mark 2 with ISS it's a day one purchase. BTW, how do you shoot the BTS video?

Fantastic video as always! Making me want to invest in this for next years season. Quick question, since you have the same lens on Nikon, how do you find it in terms of stability without any VR and going gimbal-less? I tend to use a 40mm on the gimbal but shakes all over the place when I'm freehanding, does this lens suffer or because its heavier, it seems to even out?
@WizardOfCheeseКүн бұрын
1:40 very good point, i did wonder this. that's why i love the 40mm, it looks like a wide so people open up more, lol. 15:10 true

What is the standard wedding video you guys make? Is it 10 min of wedding Highlights and those interviews with closest family and friends? Or you make a longer video as well?
@lacedingracephotoКүн бұрын
And i thought i was living with a 24-70!!!! I need to try it out. Do you feel you get distortion in the wide shots?
@BIGBURNFILESКүн бұрын
If you shot a Nigerian wedding with this, you'd have severe pains in the morning because of the weight .
@abiley84Күн бұрын
Quick question... Has your lens developed lens creep? I noticed mine started creeping when pointing down at around 70mm after about 1.5yrs of owning it.
@RGV250FORSALE10 сағат бұрын
Had one - and unfortunately 35 just isn't wide enough for group shots, especially if you've restricted room to move back. Yup - it's a great lens - but it does weigh a ton
@ooharlooКүн бұрын
Do you have dust under your front element? I got some in mine but no noticable blobs in my shots yet...
@TaylorJacksonPhotoКүн бұрын
I haven’t noticed any. Mine went in for repair last year though because an element shift though so they might have cleaned it up to factory spec again

Do you think A7rV and tamron 35-150 is a good combo? A9 III is beyond my buget
@TaylorJacksonPhotoКүн бұрын
For sure. A9iii is unnecessary haha. Unless you really really want 4k60 no crop

Hey Taylor i was wondering are your courses for Canada/Usa only or can I apply your teaching in Europe?
@TaylorJacksonPhotoКүн бұрын
There’s been a lot of Europeans that have gone through them and they’ve been helpful. There’s also a 100% money back guarantee always, so if it’s not for you that’s fine too. Just let me know

The lens is great but I hate sooc Sony colors.
@TaylorJacksonPhotoКүн бұрын
Why do you hate the colors?
@ponchodawson7741Күн бұрын
@ IMO just not as saturated and snappy as Canon or Nikon. I reach for my Sony for autofocus for wildlife and birding but Canon or Nikon for color with everything else. Plus I don’t like editing for the most part. Weddings aren’t my favorite but I shot 2 a couple of months ago, so I must say thank you for the great content.

Hey Taylor! You can actually free up that C1 button because you can disable the live view for flash separately in the menu 😉 Shooting > Shooting Display > Live View Display Set. > Exposure Effect > Exposure Setting Only
@TaylorJacksonPhotoКүн бұрын
This is helpful. I’ll maybe see if I can run that to the button since for party I still want the iso boost
@_rhapsodist23 сағат бұрын
