I completely agree. You recommended a good lens. I'm also using Sony's a6700 camera and I'm worried about the next lens. I think the Sigma 16-50mm and Tamron 17-70mm are also good options for Sony's crop body lenses. Anyway, your KZbin channel still has few subscribers, but it's only a matter of time. Your video content is really great and helpful. I'm looking forward to the next video too.

I use the 18-105 for video work and the Sigma 16 mm for photo, but for run n gun I use the Tamron 17-70 2.8 👌 on my A6700 great photo lens and respectable video 👌

Great video! Sigma 16mm is an unbeatable lens for APS-C. I have mainly been using sony 16-55mm, sony 15mm and sigma 23mm. The latter two lenses have retired my sigma 16mm, but I still keep it because it's just such a sharp lens. I used to own sony 35mm for a6500, but quickly sold it for sigma 30mm, which also was sold eventually. I just rented sigma 18-50mm to compare it to sony 16-55mm, since sigma 18-50mm is so popular and budget friendly. So great to have a wide variety of APS-C lenses now, compared to back in a6500 days!

I’m confused. The Sigma 16/1.4 is a DC DN for APS-C image circle and not a DG DN for full frame image circle. Great lens but on a full frame image sensor I’m sure you get major problems with dark corners. Help explain how it’s usable for full frame please.

Planning to buy sony a6700 next week. With a 11mm f 1.8 ultrawide lens for indoor and outdoor videos. Is it good decision? Later will get 23mm apsc lens for standard size

That is very wide but if you need a wide focal length then I’m sure it’s fine. I’d always try and recommend a good zoom lens because then you have more variety ⚡️

I got a6700, I have the sigma 16 and is a killer combo. I have also the 35mm f1.8, nice lens but a lot of chromatic aberration especially in depth of field. nice for the price but not best for professional work. maybe the sigma 30 is a better option

Great question. The 50mm f1.8 is great however the 35mm is very similar. I’d get one or the other. Either will benefit you. Hope that helps 🙏
