Such a great speech with so many interesting points. I can honestly say that I love being around children as they are often the best teachers and they have such a beautiful energy 💕 Children emanate so much joy, curiosity and playfulness. They are open to new experiences while exploring their environment. They like to experiment and interact with everything around them. They also know how to be funny. Children love to share everything, especially food. 😊 I often giggled when I was being fed by a toddler. Children with their way of being make this world a better place for all of us 💕 Thank you so much for these great reminders, Dr. Hasan 🙏

He should do a part two discussing betrayal trauma, and disappointment. That advice isn't helpful otherwise lol I think in most cases discernment is a more productive approach when not dealing with infants or elderly. I don't think most people are cold they just develop a courageous wisdom rather than bitter cynicism or naivety. Being soft-hearted, compassionate and sensitive was a recipe for disaster in all of human history so I'm sure there's a biological evolutionary component to this that not arbitrary. You leave yourself too open you'll get hurt and become more cynical resentful and bitter. This conversation was way too shallow and short, it's fascinating where he's coming from tho.

I pray that God allows us to each keep enough of the inner child within us always so that we can still be able to see the wonder and joy in things and others always....

They are developing humans who haven't been overly socially conditioned. We can learn so much from them which is totally opposite of Childism.
