She didn't want to be a regular cast on Cheers in fact she had to fight with the producers to get her out the contract. But it's a shame that she was an excellent star regular on CHEERS 🍻

Had a girlfriend who by chance watched a few episodes of Frasier, she later told me about it remarking " I understand now why you enjoy Frasier so much. They all talk like you." "Speak like I do," I corrected her, "it's speak like I do." I did say I HAD a girlfriend.
@sheltr9735 Жыл бұрын
LOL But, IMO, your correction still needs a bit of correction. That is, you should have said: "They speak as I do." "Like" can be used in a simile, to point-out shared attributes, as in "oranges are circular, like a child's ball". Whereas the use of "as" indicates a role. For example, "as your father, I'll help you as much as I can" versus "like your father, I'll help you as much as I can." It sounds to me that you were indicating that the Frasier cast speaks as you do, in terms of performing the role of an intellectual. Of course, I could be wrong, perhaps you were indicating that the Frasier cast speaks with the same accent that you have, or some other attribute that you all share. Ugh, I'm becoming a grammar nazi! On her own, grammar is already a demanding mistress. She doesn't need any help from me...

Bebe's focus was always Broadway - she only did television because she thought it would help her move from supporting to starring roles. They did ask her if she wanted to continue and she said no, and the producers were happy because they wanted to move in a different direction, so mutual. She would have been on more if she was interested - the producers didn't want to alienate fans etc. Kind of how the business works; if they froze her out there would have been repercussions. But she got what she post wanted - a Tony award and she is still working on Broadway. Dancers who can sing and act have looong careers.

Lillith wasn't such a bad person. You never Frasier complaining about him not having money because of alimony and child support. Lillith could have easily falsely claimed that Frasier abused her or the child like many women do. Her not having abused the system shows how much she cared for Frasier.
@BethHarmon-yh8ms7 ай бұрын
@@leonardo899 Really? She cheated on Frasier and abandoned him and her son to live in a bubble with a fellow scientist who turned out to be a complete loony. Little wonder that Frasier eventually packed up and left when she came crawling back when it didn't work out with her lover. Wife of the Year she certainly was not. She may not have been Lizzie Borden, but she was no Mother Teresa either. Frasier never complained about her? Maybe not to her face (if he could help it) but it's been established he HAS mentioned her on his radio show to his listeners.

You missed the scene from later in that episode, "Room Service", when Lilith arrives at Frasier's house. I also love the exchange she has with the pale man she meets on the airplane, later in the episode in which she asks Fraser For his sperm. There are a few more scenes/moments missed, but of course you're unable to Include _everything._ 🤓 I absolutely adore Lilith's stature. She is gorgeous. And. Bebe could never help how beautifully. her dancers body permeated the character and screen. I love how much she actually _flexes_ it throughout the "Room Service" episode. My absolute favorite Lilith moment ionically doesn't even feature Bebe, herself. It's in the end of "Good Samaritan": Frasier says to Freddie: "I've got something I've gotta talk to you about. For the next couple of days, you're going to hear some rather nasty stories and some snide jokes about your old man." Freddie: *_"Mom's_** coming??"* 🤣🤣😂😅

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

Lucky you to have seen her as Velma!! I'm working out the kinks getting back to NYC to see her in Caberet in May

@@dwyerplusrichardson That's so true and the humour is just so intelligent. Have you seen the trailer for the reboot?

Good compilation. I think you cropped one of the scenes too early however. After the hell frozen over line, Martin says something like, “Frasier, how’d you ever let this peach get away?”

how she manages to keep a straight face is beyond me, Lilith would not have been Lilith without Bebe's talent

What made Frasier so good was that you could tell the actors thoroughly enjoyed working with each other and inhabiting their respective characters. Bebe Neuwirth was a perfect example of an actor who thoroughly enjoyed playing Lilith and clearly enjoyed working with the Frasier ensemble.

0:55 some of the most genuine laughter right here, he loved that joke. 4:58 Bebe almost broke here, she did so well.
