Hello! You are correct! American cheese slices are Kraft singles. That’s the most widely used brand for sandwiches here in Ohio! Also, as a Greek American, your research for Gyro pronunciation was spot on :)

I’m Australian but our Costco sells American cheese slices (you’re just getting a LOT all at once). IMO they’re not quite the same as Kraft Singles, but they’re close so Kraft would definitely be a suitable substitute. However, Kraft may have a different recipe for the singles they sell to us, so that could be a factor in the comparison

Yep! There used to be a Houston Oilers football team but they moved to Tennessee??? in the 90s. Being as we're in Canada, hockey is everywhere and the Edmonton Oilers hockey team is the top in our division and we expect them to go all the way this year!!

Yes! You totally can. The Sliders are in a 9x13 pan, and the dips are in 4x5 1/2 pans. We've used different sizes over the years and that's just what we had on hand. Also, just fyi...and i could be totally wrong, but i think tjr calories listed per serving for the black bean and corn enchiladas is wrong. Your recipe says 12 servings and 398 calories per serving, but i get about 115 calories per serving. But i also could just be Mathimg wromg 😅

It's calculated by the website, but I can go back in and do a refresh. We've had that happen when we've changed something in the recipe and not recalculated the Nutritional info. Thanks for letting us know!

I just ran it through again and it dropped to 323. The recipe looks right and the ingredients are correct, so I'm going to assume it's all the cheese that's bringing the calorie count up. lol Like I said, it's a nutritional calculator that comes with the recipe maker. It has to be taken with a grain of salt to some degree but it's generally in the ballpark. I'd say double check how much cheese you're calculating and if you're still coming up with 115, then go with that. I can't mess with ours any further to make it come out less. I have to trust it. Sorry, friend!

@@FreezerMeals101 I calculated 8 oz per cup of cheese. So, that would be 2 lbs or 32 oz of cheese for the whole recipe. Is that how much you use?

Cheeses like cheddar, mozzareall, havarti, etc. are actually 4 oz. per cup. Which makes it half of what you calculated. It will be 1 lb. total of cheese. 🤷‍♀️ Side note: harder cheese like Parmesan cheese is 3 oz. for 1 cup and soft cheese like feta is 6 oz. per cup. Cheese math is ...painful. lol
