Plus as golden brown as your buns came out, that’s also how they serve their buns or they get that nice crispy edge, but just that pillowy softness in the center. Hey there! Just a suggestion for you for the future...to melt the cheese better when no dome is handy, place the top buns on top of the cheese and it will hold more heat in. The only drawback is that toppings may have to be placed on the bottom bun. I hope this suggestion is helpful. Thank you for sharing your food creation journey, and for being such a fun couple!

Daisy Mae was wanting a bite of that hamburger meat really bad ! Our dogs are the same way it’s something about raw or even cooked hamburger meat that dogs love so much . I have to say though my doggies love cooked chicken too! I was floored by your grilled /toasted Hawaiian rolls ! I never thought to toast up my Hawaiian Rolls ! Absolutely genius and I’ll definitely be doing ours toasted from now on when I make sliders . That was also a fantastic tip using the bottom roll box the rolls came in to use as a mold for your hamburger meat so Thank You for both of your tips! Once in a while, I get a wild hair. I love to experiment, so I spread a can of crescent roll dough in a 1/2 sheet pan , layered ham and cheese, topped that with a second can of crescent roll dough, slathered some melted butter on top and baked it until golden brown. Yum. While you were making the pizza thingy, I realized I haven’t made Hasselback Potatoes in a LONG time!

This is only Tuesday and I’ve made sliders twice this week: cheeseburger and pizza sliders. I use the Hawaiian rolls and make the cheeseburger ones pretty much the same way that you did. The pizza ones I use sauce, sliced mozzarella cheese and whatever toppings that you like on your pizza. We love sliders! I love that you grilled the cheeseburger buns. I usually put them together, spread melted butter w/garlic powder on the top. I then put them in a 400* oven for 10/15 minutes to crisp the top. I’m going to try your way, it looks great!
