I wish I had played the last DLC maps more. But CQC DLC probably the best dlc I've played for a battlefield game. My Favorites were Grand Bazaar, Seine Crossing, and Op Metro (RUSH). Good times.

I've never seen a game with such a large variety of popular maps. Metro CQ and Noshar TDM have stood out a bit of course, but it wasn't like the other maps weren't popular. There were even Teheran Highway only servers back in the day.

Pearl Market is incredibly fun for close quarters gameplay, the adrenaline rush you get while sprinting up and down stairs is amazing

I love the cadence in the Caspian Border loading screen in BF3. The entire game was a giant love letter to the USMC, if you think about it. Marine cadences in the loading screens, you do all the Marine jobs in the campaign, including some that are no longer with us (Rest in Peace, Marine Corps Tankers), from mortarman to scout sniper, etc.

The only problem with Strike at Karkand as well as Sharqi Peninsula, was the lack of RU/US base, great maps btw, amaizing gameplay on rush... They should focus on bringing back what was good, make it better for 2020 standards for the next one

Long time sub, and fan of your work. I loved BF as much as you do. I go back to BF2 on PC, then console from BC till BF4, did Hardline, BF1, and BF5 and was sadly disappointed and never spent time after just a few hours of each. They weren’t BF3or4. I enjoy modern weapons. Anyway, again love your work, and I got a bunch BF moments for ya. I have several clips of me using Mav to explode claymores and get kills. And others, where do I send them.

We were really spoiled for choice back then, a far cry from map design in BFV now - there's just no cover & it's changed player behaviour & the overall dynamic so much.

The Close Quarters dlc maps for BF3 with the introduction of Gun Master 👌 at a point was wishing they'd somehow fuze them into one map for BF1/V Also all the full on trench warfare maps on BF1 where someone of my favorites, mainly on tdm, but did like the little sneak to kill tanks, though they where typically the spawn trapping maps.

I think the main problem with bf5s maps was that you could enter foliage, you could get very deep inside bushes and tall grass, combined with the games awful visibility, this was nightmare.

Decent top 10, I would have included Panama canal from BC2 in there as well, it was great in conquest though possibly actually slightly weaker for rush, I seem to remember attackers getting pinned in spawn as the defenders had a bit too many armored units.

Like for instance Sinai Desert to me looks absolutely gorgeous. With the clear blue sky and sandy desert and mountains. Then you got that beast train, tanks, horses, planes and various vehicles it’s just so unique and fun. Really I could go for a top 20 or 30.

I also love strike at karkand in BF 3 but cant even find a server in my region. Im from germany and there is only a russian server that has people on it, but i always get kicked because my ping is too high. Its a shame really.

I'm going to give a short sample of my favorite maps with 2 from each game. Bad Company 2: Arica Harbor, Laguna Presa (it was my first ever Battlefield match). Battlefield 3: Seine Crossing, Damavand Peak. (Honorable mention being Operation Firestorm). Battlefield 4: Hainan Resort, Paracel Storm. Battlefield 4 DLCs: Gulf of Oman, Sunken Dragon. Battlefield Hardline: Downtown, Hollywood Heights. Battlefield 1: Suez, St Quentin. Battlefield 1 DLCs: Tsaritsyn, Passchendaele. Battlefield 5: Narvik, Devastation. Thanks for reading my list! BF1s Suez map is actually where one of my most memorable moments in playing video games happened. I'll post it in the comments

It was Operations and we were the Ottomans.. We were on the retreat and I kill a charging horse on the way back to the small town in the center of the map. I get up on this roof and immediately get on the mounted machine gun. The British started swarming like hornets over the sand dunes. I start mowing them down and I pick off quite a few people who tried using the dunes as cover but leaving their heads exposed. They started using smoke to cover their advance. Through the smoke, this one guy I tried to kill looked like his soldier was beating his gun as if he was trying to get it to work again xD After my MG finishes cooling off, I then proceed to finish off the remaining people I could see and I was then met by a mortar than was hidden behind the dunes and it flew my body off the roof. In total, I managed to kill 6 people. It might not seem too epic but it was one of the most surreal experiences I've had in any war game, let alone Battlefield.

Operation Firestorm is my fav battlefield map of all time. Great combined arms gameplay, open spaces for land vehicles, and buildings and cover for infantry. A classic conquest map. Wish there were more like it.

imo BF3 was by far the best BF game we have had. Virtually every map was amazing and there was something about the gunplay that just felt better to me. Also the blue tint was actually something I really missed in later games. And to be fair of BFV, even though its map design was overall a lot worse than other games, I still think Arras deserved to be on here, especially on Outpost. I have so many fun memories of playing on that map on that mode, and it was great fun as infantry, tanks, as well as air. Not many maps nail that holy trinity
