My personal Top 5: Zavod 311 Propaganda Seine Crossing Damavand Peak Amiens What is your Top 5? It's a real shame that some of the older 'classic' battlefield maps didn't make it to the top of this list but I suppose it shows the direction we're going in. Things are changing!

Amiens is just the ugly copy of Seine crossing, bad idea to put a train instead the river and two flag (instead one) under central bridges and not over . Zavod is not balanced, killing anti aa with heli is impossible, there should be only one central flag, too chaos in C and D, bad rush. Both don't deserve to be in Top 5 battlefield map

Achi Baba was a really fun map. It came so late into BF1 though so I feel like it never truly got appreciated. I loved the channels and dry river beds to fight in as the ANZAC soldiers.

I don't know why DICE are polling the audience here. The polls are telling them what they already know.... The maps that are the most popular are clearly the maps that took longest to design. They're typically maps with several layers or "dimensions" of gameplay. Amiens had like 4 separate levels of fighting. Compare that to a map like Panzerstorm, or any of the other one dimensional maps... It's pretty easy to see what's going on here. There are maps that the team spend a lot of time on, and there are maps that are clearly being thrown together very very quickly. SHOCKER, everybody tends to like the maps that are well thought out, and designed properly. They can't really do anything about this. They already know this. If they had the time, they would already put the work in to develop better maps. So, don't expect anything to change. Perhaps they are looking to see what type of maps are being voted toward the middle of the pack so they know to avoid the style of maps that are hated. In no way do I expect more AAA content. That ship sailed a long time ago with these guys.

I might be alone in this, but I really loved Tehran Highway. It was so aesthetic. Fighting in the streets, tracers zooming by at mid range. It was just immense fun to me. To me, I'd have to say (theyre all equally fun to me) Metro - spray & pray Golmud Railway - mid range combat that brings out some of the best squadplay Hamada - same as Golmud. Mid range. less full auto. Amiens - spray & pray Arras - semi close - medium range, good squadplay Paracel storm - A E S H T H E T I C strike at karkand - Squad play or bust Ziba tower - yeet those nades Tehran Highway - Fun mid range combat, allowing DMR's to shine Golf of Oman - It brings out all the aspects really well. From close to long range.

I don't get the Caspian Border obsession. Out of the 3 biggest BF3 launch maps I think Kharg is the most diverse, beautiful and well-designed map, and as such is one of my favorites in the series. It's also a shame how rarely Aftermath maps get a mention, I find Azadi to be BF3's Karkand in terms of quality urban combat, and also one of the best maps in the franchise. The BF games that followed after didn't manage to grab me that much, and as for BC2 - I couldn't choose. I just love everything in that game.

Aftermath was one of bf's best dlcs. I can still remember my first tremor on epicenter. I love caspian but yes kharg played very well on conquest. One of my faves and i would consider it to be a true bf map.

Metro from BF3. The progressive aspect of the map is just so good. There are many chokepoints and super fluid progression. There are good flank routes, cover is also not bad. It's personally my favourite map.

While i do enjoy new maps and that fresh experience, i greatly enjoy jumping on the older Battlefield games and reliving those nostalgic maps, however i don't think Dice could really remake any of the older maps with the same feel to them, not without the feel of the game they were included in. I feel the same about operation metro, I'm excited for the remake but i will certainly be missing the gunplay from Battlefield 3, its a trade off for sure.

My top 5? Zavod is first. Love the infantry style, hoving around the two buildings as well as the underground is fun as hell. Second is Propaganda. A close second. Perfect style map, love the balance and the aesthetic. Also infantry focused. Third is most likely... most likely Dawnbreaker. Once again I love the Urban setting. Night time gives it great views, and I love sweeping through the streets and buildings. Fourth is Amien, you know the drill. Urban infantry. Men and tanks, street block by block fighting. Fivth is I dont really know, most maps are fun as hell.

This is a great question which will require some deep thought. Been playing BF since BF1942 came out in 2002. I've bought them all but didn't like or really play BF1 or 5 and for some reason, I didn't get into Vietnam, not sure why. I will do some homework and return with my top 10 because 5 is a tease. Battlefield 3 was my first only battlefield game I played and absolutely loved it. No other game I played from fps like call of duty or any br, although I love playing apex legends, was nothing like battlefield 3. nothing I found was annoying or boring, just so much fun with everything in battlefield 3.

1: Passchendaele (BF1) 2: Firestorm (BF4) 3: Cape Helles (BF1) 4: Kaiserschlacht (BF1) 5: River Somme (BF1) Never really cared for game balance or levolution, etc. I've always preferred the atmosphere of maps which is why BF1 makes up most of my favorite maps.
