My mom made a dish similar to this. She used ground beef carrots, potatoes, tomato sauce, s&p, and a little ketchup. I make it to this day! Simple, filling, and inexpensive.

My mother made something similar growing up called creole steak it’s still one of my favorite dishes she added okra to hers, definitely gonna give this one a try.

@@anniegillentine4640 Hi, the recipe on the card she gave me is, 1-1/2 LBS OF Steak Of Choice Chopped, One Can Of Tomato Juice Or More Depending On How Many You’re Serving, One Whole Onion Or More Depending On How Many People It’s For. One Green Bell Pepper, About Half A Pack Of Fresh Mushrooms Chopped Or Canned Will Also Work. And 3 Tbsps Of Worcestershire Sauce. This Can Be Made On Stove Or Crockpot. If In Crockpot Cook Everything Except Okra On Low 6-8 Hours Or Until Meat Is Fork Tender. About Halfway Through You Can Add The Okra So It Can Be Soft But Not Soggy. You Can Make Any Adjustments If Needed. Hope You Like It. 😊
