Gorditas can be made on a skillet, but today I’m going to show you how to fry them to perfection just like your Abuelita. Ingredients
2 cups maseca
1 cup AP Flour
1/2 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 Tbsp salt
2 to 3 cups of water
Dough makes 1 dozen Gorditas
Ground beef filling
1 pound of ground beef
1 large potato
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Toppings- guacamole, pico de Gallo, cortina cheese

OH, I've been on the hunt of a good Gordita Recipe. I'm in Denver and I used to get the best Gorditas at La Flavortia Restaurant. They since closed thie Restaurant, but still have the factory. Your recipe is by far the best, spot on. I want my FRIED Gordita.

Want to let you know, your empanada recipe was the 1st video/recipe I watched and I was hooked.
