Hi Ben! Your Mini has a wiper service feature - to make access easier: Press ignition on, then off immediately. Hold wiper lever up until wipers stop in a vertical position automatically. Then you can replace the wiper blades easily. PS - OEM blades for the front are 24 Euro in the EU, did you check price at your local dealer parts counter?

I bought the bosch ones for my F55 and they are rubbish. Exactly the problem you describe in the passenger bottom left corner. I'm off to get some of those Denso wipers now. Thanks for the tip! 👌
