I would never consider a rear hub drive for offroad, the mid-drive like on this bike performs much better offroad. Rear hub motors are great for street because they're smooth and fast, but they are too heavy in the rear of the bike for offroad use. Awesome review, love that color too.

Fair enough! I share the same opinion. I would love to test those off-road enduro bikes, they are 5kW rear hub, but with huge 72V batteries, so the weight is very balanced and the power should be amazing. Have you ever tried one of those? Thanks for watching my friend

@@BK42Cycles yes I have, the problem is not balancing front to rear, it's the actual weight of the motor not allowing the suspension to work properly, and all that weight when hitting bumps throws the bike around having a gyroscopic effect. also not to mention the wheel getting bent and spokes breaking because of all the weight of the motor and rider on the rear. The torque is also very weak. Mid-drive performs so much better. I do prefer a hub for my ruff cycles tango on the street because it is very quiet and very smooth. But my offroad bike is a mid-drive, those enduros with a 3kw to 8kw can't keep up with my mid-drive in the trails. You must try it will give you a better understanding than me explaining. It's just weird lol

It has taken me a while because I had to strip it apart finish all the welds, fill in some rough spots as I want it to be nice smooth and glossy. I should get it back from the powder coater on sunday I'll send you some pictures before and after. I can also send a video if you like? Wish you loved in NorCal I'd let you ride it :)

Looks good, yes prefer mid drive with throttle option, do acclomine do same bike with 3"wide tyres in 24, 26 or 27. 5 wheel? What is the bike weight? How does it compare to other emtb (ie the decathlon stilus) in dimensions, weight, range and climbing ability? Are there different frame sizes, in particular smaller for 5ft 2in height? How does pedal assist work or vary the assist is it through pressure sensing or rotation sensing? Is it suitable for down hill and enduro trail riding? What is the warranty period? Thanks

Hi there :) They offer the same bike in 27.5", about other sizes I'm not sure, the best is contact the representative and they will give all the right answers to you :) Btw if you use the promo code you can get some discount on the other models as well :) The weight is the main difference between this bike and normal MTBs .. I haven't used the Decathlon EMTB, I can't say much about them,,, sorry. The PA varies according to the level set. It will detect the load and gives the motor more or less power, you can control it through the throttle as well ( like a normal scooter ). Unfortunately, I couldn't test it properly off-road or enduro tracks. I live in a big city, finding such places here isn't easy, but I did climb some small hills in the park and the bike did perform well. I could climb hills that I am not able to with the rear hub. I would say that this bike is a kind of mix of city bikes and MTB. The full suspension is great to ride off-road, the motor is powerful, but as I'm not an MTB specialist perhaps you can get more information with the manufacturer. Two years of warranty. I couldn't test much on dirty tracks, as it isn't easy to find the right spots for that here, but the 1kW motor is very powerful, it did very well on the hills I've climbed. Hi there... unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to test the 750w. I assume that the 750 will get a better range but less powerful, the tire may help improving the range as well. Getting parts shouldn't be a problem, they use mostly very known parts as Shimano, Bafang and so on... thanks for watching

Thanks a lot :) I haven't tested the 27.5" but I believe they are very similar, specifically the main structure and parts. The 27.5 tires will offer a lot of less dragging force as they are not fat. Because of that the bike must be a bit lighter. The 750w consumes a lot less than 1k motor, so with less power and less weight the battery range will be superior. It depends how you want to use this bike... do you need a lot of power? The 26" will be better off-road and as well on the snow. What is bugging you? Perhaps you can use the video code to get the discount and gifts for both bikes :)

I have been looking for a strong bike with a good motor in budget for some time, as I am very tall and really pretty heavy. On the manufacturer spec it says this bike has a payload of 200kg. This would be awesome for me, but I struggle to believe a full sus bike won't just collapse at the rear with anything like that weight on it. Do you feel it could handle that weight (I'm not 200kg, but would appreciate the extra room in the spec) or can the rear suspension be locked out perhaps?

Depends a lot on the load weight. I did test it with the hardest and the softest position. As that shock is not one of the best, the soft position was indeed to soft. So I was testing mostly at the 80/90% of hardness. Thanks for watching Christopher

Congratulations :) I hope you will have a fantastic time on it! It happens very often that the gear shift occurs at the accelerating time, the result is a big chains jump ( as well as loud noises ). The shifter sensor detects when the rider shifts the gear and inhibits the engine power for smooth changes. Using the bike without is absolutely fine, but with the sensor, it will be better and I guess the maintenance of the moving parts will be fewer . I will publish today the video showing how to unlock the 9 levels of Pedal Assistance ;) cheers

Hi Christopher, I don't think they are tubeless. I bought a tyre's removal tools to remove my tyres and indeed they are tight. If you are not sure how to remove the tyres, perhaps you can take them to a bike shop, they have other kind and better tools to remove it without damaging the tyres nor the rims ;)

@@BK42Cycles thanks for that it's strange because when I deflated the tyre and put sealent in .I put it in through the valve because the tyre was so tight. When I pumped it up sir was escaping around the rim I then assuming it was tubeless because of this I ha to deflate and inflate about 6 times before it sealed properly.

Hi Sylvester, they shipping only the 750W from Europe. I was told today that the 1Kw will be shipped again from the EU in June/July. About the size, the Accolmile size chart for this bike is up to 200 cm. A friend of mine is almost 190 and it fits him well. That's weird, my black folding one was sent from China and I knew about it. The one in the video and the white one reviewed on my latest video was sent from Poland, I've received them in two days. Hi BK42, I'm from the UK, currently on my first eBike, its a Petrigo Commuter, very nice bike, and quite punchy, it has a 350w rear hub motor, a range of around 15 miles throttle only, 30+ pedal assist.. Its throttled to 15.5mph, do you know anything about this make? Thinking of upgrading to this Accomile, looks a comfy ride....!

This Accolmile model is great, it is comfy and powerful, but it is indeed a mountain bike, the riding style is completely different of the city commuters bikes. @@am-dz7vm not exactly, from what I've been learning, it is about speed, power, and weight as well. there are some stupid limitations as no throttle ( some places thumb-throttle is allowed ) and the battery can't be higher than 36V,,, :( but on another hand - the controllers - would need a set of special tools to measure all specifications on the streets,, so these discussions are endless :( I personally keep the max speed limited up to 25km to avoid hurting anyone

Yes. The keys are only to lock the battery, but honestly it doesn't make any difference, I have another e-bike which need the key to run and with or without the key anyone can hop on and ride it, it is a bicycle in the end. So if not using a proper locker the keys won't save the bike. E-bikes are light, they are not heavy as motorcycle is, so in the end it can be easily carried away. I keep my ebikes always locked with Abus Bordo Granit XPlus 6500, loud alarm ( you can see it on my videos ) and GPS tracker for the most expensive bikes.
