Just finished eat this and it was amazing. Best mushroom gravy I have ever eaten. I had a similar dish made with turkey in a restaurant last week but this was way way way better. Go make it immediately. You will love it.

I made this today but I didn’t have any mushrooms so I used zucchini instead, kind of the same texture as mushrooms. Super good! The sauce was still amazing! Thanks!!!! I love your videos!!!! Keep up the good work!

Chef. A question to ask. 3 to 4 minutes per side of frying the porkchop, plus a further 8 minutes of simmering in the sauce. Wouldn't it make the pork chop hard from overcooking?

Is cooking cream a must? Any alternative or can we omit it? Thanks for the recipe!

wow this really easy. But what is "cooking cream"? Is that whipping cream 35%? Because they don't have "cooking cream" in my country
@lauriebennett62572 жыл бұрын
I think that's what it is. You can use heavy whipping cream, half and half or even whole milk, it just affects the richness. We make a sauce very similar for pork tenderloin only we add about 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard and I use baby Bella mushrooms instead. I think they taste better and have a little more food value. Enjoy! 😊
@HotPepperLala2 жыл бұрын
@@lauriebennett6257 Do you mean you add the mustard in addition with the cream? Or just the mustard without the cream?
@janetbaker36162 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this reply, Laurie. I wasn't sure what cooking cream was either, and I'm in US.
@lauriebennett62572 жыл бұрын
@@janetbaker3616 You're very welcome Janet! That's where I am too, in Florida. I got to thinking after I sent the message, times when I haven't had cream available to use, I have also used sour cream or plain yogurt. It gives things a little different taste but it's a good substitute. ☺️

Hi, Chef! After seeing the most "foreign" (I'm from germany) dishes on your channel I'm surpised to see you are making a fairly common european restaurant dish for christmas. Don't get me wrong, creamy mushroom pork chops is always mouth-watering but it wouldn't pass as a typical christmas feast in germany (or - probably - in other european countries). Did you choose it because of the difference between your other dishes to this one? Because of the "European-Foreigness"? I'd like to know. Anyway: Gorgeous! Keep Going, please! Yours truly L from BO

Can I replace pork with chicken? What is cooking cream?
