Hey y'all! We were absolutely AMAZED by our visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We definitely plan to go back in the future to spend more time there. We have so much more to share about our experience at the park. Visit our website for more about our visit and pictures: rvtexasyall.com/rv-america/us-national-parks/theodore-roosevelt-national-park . Have you visited Theodore Roosevelt NP? We'd love to hear about your experience. For us, it was a surprise bucket list stop.

Everybody I've talked to has said the same thing; that this park is absolutely beautiful! (And it is.) It's hard to capture the true beauty of the park, what with the wildlife and the beautiful scenery. I don't think I realized Theodore Roosevelt's first home was there (nobody had mentioned that before that I know of so thank you). I'm sure the home was probably moved there to be displayed in the park named after him. I'm so thankful to Mr. Roosevelt for having the foresight to put his weight behind the effort to get the national parks program off the ground. Without his efforts it may have never happened - but it did, and I'm thankful for that. So wonderful to see Grammy Kay again! (Love that lady! She can adopt me.) Safe travels, y'all!

Hey Michael! We absolutely loved the park. And yes, Roosevelt's Maltese Cross Cabin was originally located about 7 miles south of Medora. But at one point, it went on a tour around the country to show folks how Theodore Roosevelt lived! The park ranger who gave a presentation of the home pointed out graffiti carved into the exterior wood where folks from all over signed their names as the cabin visited their area. He also had a second home here, Elkhorn Ranch. You can visit where it was, but only the foundation remains. We were lucky to have him lead the way for the parks and that interest was largely formed by his time here in North Dakota.

One of your better presentations. A little less long winded than most.

Good Morning Y'all ☕️! I have to agree that TRNP is a hidden gem just from the video footage and those beautiful photos y'all took up there - especially the wild horses! We've been up that way a few times but never been "inside" the park, only passing through on 94 to get to somewhere else. We'll be making our way out west (SoCal), then up the pacific coast to Vancouver BC in a couple of days❣️ On a sad side note: Please support, donate or lend your voice/platform to help those in #Australia ❤️🇦🇺🦘 if you're able.

Good Mornin' Ben! It's so sad to see the devastation going on in Australia. We heard that some cooler weather is headed that way, so hopefully that will help them gain control. Sounds like you have a fun adventure planned. Safe travels! And be sure to stop in at TRNP next time you're through that way. :)

I visited the ranch part of the park in the late 60’s with my parents when it was a national memorial park. I really want to return so I can visit all three sections. Hey, what are three Texans doing adding beans to your chili...isn’t that considered a crime here in Texas? (Just kidding!!!) 😍
@rvamericayall5 жыл бұрын
LOL! We were wondering how long it would take someone to mention the beans! Checking to see if you’re paying attention Gail! 😁 Hope you get to visit the park again. Each section is uniquely beautiful!
