Hey y'all! We had a great time riding the 1880s train and exploring Devils Tower! To see more about our experiences (including more on our visits to Keystone, SD and Hulett, WY), check out our website: rvtexasyall.com/rv-america/black-hills-sd-black-hills-wy . Have you visited Devils Tower yet? We'd love to hear about it. We'd also be really interested in hearing about vintage train rides that you've enjoyed. We definitely want to take more train rides! We look forward to hearing from you. :)

It is a great place to visit.. We enjoy our annual trip to the Black Hills. There is a road that travels pretty much parallel to the tracks between Keystone and Hill City. There are a couple of things to see along the road that the train misses. Sorry I missed your trip. Hope you enjoyed everything. This is what Wyoming is all about. There are more places like Hulett than the Cheyenne’s or Casper’s in Wyoming. You should have visited the KOA one evening. They show Close Encounters every evening during the summer, and have ever since the movie was released.

I would be interested in you talking about what it is like traveling with an older parent. We take my mother camping in our 2010 Coleman Bayside pop-up camper. Some things we have done is have a porta pot for night bathroom use, allow for slower walking, and mom takes her rollater to steady herself and have a place to rest at times. We are looking at our next step in camping units and one requirement is that we have as least a sofa for Mom to sleep on.
@rvamericayall5 жыл бұрын
Hi Lynn! We had a great time traveling with Mom for 2 months. We tried to pick activities and places that we would all enjoy. Having the bathroom in the RV is super convenient. We'd suggest also paying attention to how many steps there are getting in and out of the RV and where the grab handles are located in relation to the steps. Mom kept a small flashlight next to her at night so she wouldn't have to find the light switches when she needed to get up. Have fun with your Mom! :)
