Flashlight can make risky plays more rewarding, but it also adds even more risk because you can't see around you. You could be running around blind and die out of nowhere or someone could see you kill while you're not looking that way.

If it's possible, I think the report button should only light up if the player can see it in their flashlight vision. It could make for interesting scenarios where people might walk past bodies without noticing!

One minor change needed is a speed limit on the flashlight rotation. Fundamentally the best technique in this version is to just spin the flashlight around yourself as fast as possible and you’ll see everything.

This kind of flashlight doesn't really work as a vision limiter, because you can just spin the cursor around yourself and get a full picture anyway, kind of like a sonar readout. It should definitely be tied to movement.

I do an interesting vision thing in D&D. Everything can only see in a 225° radius. However, dark vision would be your imposter vision in this let’s say you have grayscale vision at a certain range, that’s what nobody can see. But the lights are global and very much 360 from your character just cuz that’s go torches work. Flashlights emit a blueish white light which is different from the orangish white light torches emit and is not your 225° radius though you can see in 225° it’s only like 70° the light is global. So essentially imposters would have 225° grayscale vision with 70° of it being lit & grayscale up to a certain distance.

Definitely a nerf to imposters. Even tho crewmates have to move their light and get used to it, they have much more vision while imposters length of vision increase but the width greatly decreased and they cant guess the crewmate vision. Have to over account
