I wish these things weren't so dang expensive. Huge markups on these of 40 percent or higher. Can't seem to find anything under 500 that is actually in stock or not inflated to an abnormally high price. Is there anything a newbie can buy that is in stock and not hugely inflated in price? Looking to spend 500 or less just something to get started and learn on. Even with free electric and 1.50 a day profit you would never break even for a long time if at all. As Doge drops so does profit. I don't foresee doge staying at 15 cents for very long

I have a kd lite and it makes 50¢ a day lol and that's not including power. I wasted $1500 and now it won't even connect to a pool. I tried all of them but it only works on the test pool. I will definitely not buy a goldshell again.

My old Doge miner earnings are 40-41 Doge every 10 days or so for two miners and .02 LTC maybe every 15 days. These new Doge heaters are WAY too much money.

Keep it between 60-70c. Anything below 60c it will decrease hashrate because of the target temperature. There is a new firmware that was released to fix that

It's for hobbyists. Sure, the right price would be around $300-350, but could you handle the noise from a regular ASIC? This one is designed for home use. If you can get free elctricity you could plug it in and it would be profitable. May be at work in a big company with an LTE modem ?

Not really. At least not the (true) Mini Doge III Plus, which does ~810MH. Also, some of us have free electricity. 😄 If I was paying for ac the III Plus wouldn't be great, obviously.

@@RedPandaMining Yes i think they changed one of the very first steps, probably "mining.authorize", which is the step you send your wallet address and optionally a password if you want to mine with a fixed difficulty.

Kaspa-pool had a DDoS attack yesterday and most people were not able to connect to their stratum. It's supposed to be back to normal now so perhaps you can try to see if the new firmware can connect to them again?

Current price will almost never justify buying any of these. By the time they pay themselves off many more efficient models come out with more hashrate and less electricity cost. It's best to set it up, mine and hold coins for at least several years when the bull run occurs. I don't even own any miners. Looking to buy one of these soon. It's for the long run.
