Good showcase of the microphones! I also have the V47 and Amethyst mics. Great classic sounds from those. I have had the Amethyst for two years now.

Wow, nice mic comparison. I was expecting to love the Amethyst mic more since I own one and love it, but I was really impressed with the v47 and how it seemed to roll off the harsh frequencies. And the Glyn Johns set up with the 2 mics sounded incredible. Great video!
