They have 3 train windows, they sound like LO 378s and it fits through the platforms with 10 coaches long. WOW, best video ever and the next video will be a Southern, Southeastern and Govia Thameslink class 377/1s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s and 7s.

@@bb-3653 well normally 378s have four coaches and since they have '5 car train' on the picture it shows, they have 5 coaches so yeah your right, they're both different cause 376s are Electrostars and 378s are CapitalStars.

The simple reason is cost and necessity. SE have been on a series of short term direct award contracts over the last few years. As the 376s haven't been required a refurbishment in these contracts, there's no reason for SE to pay money they don't need - especially if they lose the contract when it comes up (soon) for renewal. It's not like most passengers care that these units have orange doors unlike the rest of them - commuters just want good reliability and capacity and don't care about train presentation. If anything, it makes them more London Overground like!
