Wonderful video of some of Fukushima's many great, underrated spots & abundant natural beauty! I would add as recommendations or alternatives: - the Salvador Dali Museum, just near the entrance to the Goshikinuma hiking trail and one of only 3 museums dedicated to the artist in the world - the strange but undeniably charming UFO Museum in Iino-machi, which can be reached as a short detour from the Day 3 route (and also includes a nice mountain hike if you're keen) - the newly built Ultraman/Tokusatsu Museum in Sukagawa, a short distance from Miharu - in Miharu, if you'd like a coffee before the caves, Britomart is a great choice

You can see Mt,Fuji from the beach in the outside hot spring bath. There is lot of Onsen, local seafoods market and restaurants ,historical site and family beaches .

Wonderful video! It's great seeing more recent footage of Fukushima and specifically Minamiaizu. it's been a few years since I got a chance to visit again. I lived there as a JET a few and it's a wonderful area. I love the drive from Shirakawa to Shimogo via Kokudo 289 especially deep into the mountains. It's a breathtaking drive especially in the mornings though in my case, I drove all the way from Utsunomiya instead of going to Shin-Shirakawa first, lol.

Thanks for dedicating all this beautiful content to Fukushima-ken. I believe it's incredibly important to raise more public awareness of how clean and stunningly beautiful this prefecture is. 100% enjoyable as always. Funny as hell episode too, especially in the end :D 5:18 reminds me of the Pokémon Farfetch'd, also Mukaitaki is probably the most scenic single non-religious building I've ever seen! Really great mix of everything, thanks for the ideas! One day when I'm older, wiser and much more impactful, I will make my hometown parnter up with a japanese town and share many beautiful moments (romantic I know). Edit: I think I personally prefer a little less contrast in color grading, but everything looks perfect nevertheless!

An awesome video is showing us wonderful places of Fukushima prefecture. Question : I don't have a driving license. Can all these places be visited by public transport system?
@japanguide
@japanguide 3 жыл бұрын
By public transport, most of it is doable, but will take more than 3 days. The only part that will be difficult to do without private transportation is between Urabandai and the Azuma Mountains. In particular, public transportation along the Bandai-Azuma Skyline is very bad to non-existent most of the year.

It really depends on where you're going and what you'd like to do. Since Fukushima is such a large prefecture, renting a car is the best way to see many different things. But if you want to stay on public transport, you can craft an itinerary that fits that as well.
