@@Aczie042 honestly. Being English myself I have to disagree, because the vast majority of English men do not care about what their stomach looks like, especially those that are as sarcastic as Chris is. @@artsyjames Where I understand what you are saying, he's a tiny bit chubby. He's hardly overweight. I mean, the majority of places that body is considered normal. It's just because in Japan everyone seems to be a god damn twig. That isn't healthy lmao. But the point I'm making is, the persona he puts forward in these videos is an incredibly sarcastic and pessimistic prick who doesn't care about anything, because everythings shit unless it's got alcohol in it etc. And yet he's like 'Oh. I best go with the vertical stripes so I don't look fat !!'. It's a literal 180 on how he's usually acting.
@Gulliedoutbigup
@Gulliedoutbigup 3 жыл бұрын
@@ShyguyMM Where I can see where you are coming from, he grew up in the UK and if anything, is only very slightly overweight. Infact, he's probably completely normal compared to the people here. (the UK) It just blows my mind how he doesn't care about a lot 'meaningless' shit like his hair, fashion etc, but for some reason.. the weight is the issue. you know ? He gives the impression he lives how he wishes to live. Does what he wants to do. Eats what he wants to eat and doesn't care... Until the camera catches him sideways and then he suddenly, starts to care about his appareance. Well.. specifically.. his stomachs appareance. It's just a mad contrast that I literally cannot get over, no matter how many years I've been watching his contant.

+Evan Saltare That's actually exactly what his channel's name is a play on words of. Well, except for the American meaning of "broad". His channel is "A Broad In Japan" since his last name is Broad, but it also means "abroad" as the play on words.

My life goal is now to pretend to everyone that I'm going to Japan for some illustrious career path to pursue my lifelong dream of bathing myself in Japan's rich culture, amazing people, superb cuisine, and stunning vistas, when secretly I'm actually just going to find this dude and dance with him literally every day and live in a little cave nearby whenever he's not in-shop.

I have always said this to producers when they think people only watch short videos on social. If the video is good and compelling, people will watch long ones, we generally don't flip channels on TV after 5 minutes because the programs are generally well made and hold our interest as viewers.

Hello from NY. I would like to tell you that you're videos have made me extremely excited to visit Japan for the first time. You do an amazing job exposing Japanese culture to the rest of the curious world. I would love to see the country side of Japan as you continually display it's beauty and contrast from the city. I have decided to visit Japan in November for my birthday. I will be staying for four days and am so excited in planning my trip with your videos in mind. I just felt like I needed to tell you this because you have really made me even more excited to experience this country. I will try to walk around a lot and take in the city and sights. I think I will stay in shinjuku capsule hotel for my trip. but I still have to decide on how far out I will travel around before returning home. anyways, thanks a lot. take care.

7:20 this is what I love about Japan. In western countries by God I can do pretty much whatever I want and so I do it half assed my entire life. But the Japanese? You often find the type there that gets into something and dedicates his heart to it , come heat, come cold, no matter how unimportant it seems to others. I wish I could be more like that, actually.

So when Queen Elizabeth passes on (and a king is crowned afterwards), does that mean the Lyrics change to God save the King? Interesting to think a country's anthem title could change at any time.
