I lost my mom within 1 year of her diagnosis of Cancer. Time truly is precious. I am so glad I took the time to get on a plane and see my mom- she died 6 months after my visit. I will always treasure that time I got with her.

I've been experiencing this from my aunt and my mom and quite frankly it's demoralizing because it does.make you feel like your family is seeing you as lacking because you are not.booed up and you're okay with it. Why can't anyone not understand that I'm single and perfectly fine with it and not willing to settle for someone just to avoid being alone? It's such an annoying assumption and they only do it to women. No one would call my brother and ask why he isn't in a relationship.

If you’re happy and content being alone, embrace that because that emotion is a gift. I wish I could feel like that because I’m not finding the right person and I would like to just not care like I used to a few years ago. I didn’t care to find anyone, didn’t date until I was freaking 28 or later and just focused on my tons of hobbies. I guess it makes sense why I want to try it now after being alone all this time but ugh, everytime I interact with guys I realize many of them ain’t worth it lol
