As a person who had befriended many crows near every place I've ever lived, I can confirm they are wonderful and do, in fact, bring you gifts. They're also very intelligent, and if you teach one crow to talk, they will teach each other and pass it down the generations. They will also come when called, which means you can summon a murder of crows with a whistle if you play your cards right.

@TarisLuna 100%. It's very fun. Btw crows really like boiled eggs, bacon, corn or peanuts. Just try not to overfeed high fat stuff like bacon, cause it's not great for them to have high fat all the time. Raw beef is also a favorite of our neighborhood crows.

For the chest binding question Robin asked: It shouldn't hurt unless there's something wrong. GC2B binders kinda hurt because they totally tanked the quality of their binders. Some people do have more sensitive chests though, and squishing them down can hurt just a little. Edit! Do bind safely. Prolonged wear can cause issues with your chest area, and can compress the ribs a bit too much. Best thing is to get a binder that is at least a size bigger than you think you'll need. Don't wear it to sleep, don't wear it in water, and don't wear it for over 8 hours at a time. I had some really bad binding habits and had to stop wearing a binder about two years ago. I got top surgery this year though, so I'll not have to worry about it again!

Yeah. I don’t hurt from it, but if it’s badly done, too tight, or too long, it may hurt. This despite being highly sensitive to touch, the pressure doesn’t hurt.

1:55:13 The problem with that is that Aladdin didn't think Jasmine liked him, so he could have asked for the law to be changed, but then how would he get her to like him? He thought that being a prince would get her to like him, but what really mattered was him just being himself. That's one of the big morals of the story that even Genie tries early on to get him to realize.

19:48 There's a couple of trees that have sap that can be made into syrup, birch for example. It's just that maple is the most efficient, having the most sugar content, this means you need to take less from each tree per bottle, so the tree gets harmed less and humans need to do less processing to make the syrup. Incidentally, saps also make a good base for alcoholic drinks since they're mineral rich and already contain some sugar.
@Vlad_Tepes_III

Nope, date palm syrup is better. (This is date palm syrup I'm talking about, not the other palm syrup that's commercially used and abused)
@RayPoreon
@RayPoreon 11 ай бұрын
@@Vlad_Tepes_III Date palms don't exactly grow in northern climates. Meanwhile both maple and birch are hardy against northern winters. Why this is important is pretty much just a matter of shipping, it's easier to supply North America en masse with maple syrup(since it's produced mainly in Canada) and than it is to supply it with any kind of palm syrup which generally comes from around or below the equator. Meanwhile, Britain mostly uses golden syrup(partially inverted sugar syrup) since it has easy access to normal sugar, both through sugar beets and imported cane sugar(mostly from the commonwealth).

29:28 As someone who binds very often, it can. You’re not supposed to wear binders for more than 8hrs, and never bind with ace bandages because they continue to tighten and will hurt you!!! If you have rib issues like me, binding tape (transtape, kt tape, etc.) can be helpful!! Remember to stretch before and after binding, and listen to your body. If you hurt your ribs or breast tissue it can reduce the chances of being able to get top surgery. Be safe y’all!!

Hey Robin, it sounded like you might have been confused when that post mentioned the homeless kid in Aladdin, I'm guessing you were confused because you thought the op was talking about Aladdin himself, to clarify, he was not. Near the beginning of the movie Aladdin stole a piece of bread, before he ate it he noticed a couple of homeless children nearby watching him, he then decided they needed it's more than him, so he gave it to them. It was a big half loaf of bread that looked almost identical to the picture in the post.

Binders definitely can hurt. If you're binding unsafely, they can cause tons of problems. Back pain, rashes, bruises, difficulty breathing, etc. If your binder is too small or you're using something you shouldn't use (Like ACE bandages or got forbid, cling wrap) then it can warp your ribs or even break them.

Trans guy here to explain if chest binders hurt. Short answer: They're kind of uncomfy but fine. Like a bra but more squish. Long answer: It's common knowledge within the trans community that binding is not to be done for more than 8 hours a day, you shouldn't sleep/lay down too long in them, shouldnt exercise in them, and you *really* shouldn't use makeshift binders or any sort of tape that isn't breathable, stretchy, and meant to be put on the body (kt tape or trans tape work fine). Or else, your ribs can literally be bruised, misshapen, broken, or just irreversibly damaged, sometimes leading to not being able to get top surgery. As long as you bind safely, though, none of this is an issue. Also to any binding people reading this: Do the shoulder stretch thing rn. Reset your bones. You deserve it.

Thanks for the massive bits of information! As a transwoman, ive been wondering whether or not a binder is worth it.. and, i'd say, (atleast during school), it probably is.

“Provided you can have those hallucinations…” Yes. Precisely. I just interact with the words. I’m like a 1 out of 5 on the visualization meter. It still trips me out to think we all might interact differently with fundamental parts of life and remain mostly ignorant of it happening at all. On the other hand, I could smell a cat had an infection just standing by him while petting him. I don’t think this is a good trade off, though it’s occasionally useful. I’d rather read books and have vivid visuals. Then again, there’s now Baldur’s Gate 3, so it’s a bit like that.

The smell of infection is quite distinctive, I can pick up really quickly if one of my cats or dogs has an abscess. But it’s not an either/or, I also hallucinate vividly when reading. I wonder how many people who don’t like reading lack the ability to visualize what they’re reading.

If ur binder is not supposed to hurt, if it is it's too small and it can be dangerous to wear it

Donut was created by accident. It started out as a cake, but during a voyage the guy brining the cake needed to rest it someplace and stuck it through a pole. Im just summarozing it very breifly but apparently thats how the origin of the donut came to be. I have this book on food and it tells you how some of them were created, they tell you facts - think it is called "Everything But The Kitchen Sink". Had it for years and I kept it because I still like to read it. Edited spelling
