Fun info about the lucky iron fish: there was an aid organization working to treat health issues caused by low iron levels and, originally, they just gave the locals a small brick of iron and said "cooking with this in the pot will keep you healthy" and when they came back later to see how things were going, they found out most people just weren't using them at all (can't blame them, if a stranger came to my house and said "throw this brick in your cooking, it's good for you i promise" i wouldn't believe them either). So they did more research and found out fish were associated with good luck. So they handed out the iron again but shaped like fish and people actually used it after that

It is the second day of the festival when we celebrate for dogs that we call ' Kukur Tihar ' .
