Great review thanks for making this. Which Barbour jacket are you wearing in this video?

Wonderful video about these shirts. Surprisingly, there's not much content and videos about these shirts! That said, I have also found them to be the best oxfords I have ever worn. You can tell the quality immediately when you touch the rugby cotton that they use. I have found the material to be thick and a bit stiff at first, but this is a sign that over time they will break in very nicely. Like you, I have found the sizing to be the only drawback. I'm the same height as you and about 170, but quite muscular. I cannot wear the medium. Most of Taylor Stitch's shirts are tailored and have high armholes. High armholes closer to your armpit make the sides of the shirt fit closer to your body; however, they can be constricting in the chest and shoulder region. So, I stick with the large. If I made a mistake one day and dried the large, it would still be wearable (maybe even making it perfect). And drying the medium would make the shirt useless. Another oxford I have found to fit nicely is the oxfords from Gap in the standard fit. The material is great, but not as thick as the Everyday Oxford.

Do you know how the sizing compares to the Jack flannel shirts? I am 6' tall and 210 lbs and wear an XL. If I put it in the dryer, I think it would shrink enough that I couldn't wear it anymore.

They fit almost identical to the flannels. Shrink a little less though.

@@TheMapleReview Good to know. One more question. Do they get wrinkled easy when air drying? I hate to iron shirts. 😁

@@Timpala44 At 100% cotton, yes they will wrinkle. But maybe you can air dry them and then put them in the dryer for five minutes? Personally, I don't risk the dryer at all because if I get sidetracked it could be in there for an entire cycle of drying. That said, I bought a standing steamer off amazon, and it takes three minutes to go over a shirt and make it look great! Remember, it's cotton, so the idea of ironing and pressing it like a dress shirt isn't needed. Oxfords look their best when they are a bit wrinkled. Being somewhat rumpled adds to their casual nature.
