The BEST place to stay in the Faroe Islands?

"The View" is quite possibly the best place to stay in the Faroe Islands. The houses, the location, and of course the view are all excellent. It's close to the airport and many of the top sites you'll want to visit.

@@Cristina-nq2oc Believe it or not, I didn't do any dining on that trip! I brought my own simple meals and bought a few groceries, but otherwise I spent all my time outdoors photographing, etc. But the location is only like 3 minutes from the nearest city and I'm sure there are some good options. If you stay here, the owner will happily recommend good dining options 🙂

@@SwanTheQueen Hmmm, that doesn't seem quite right. I checked their website just now and it was $321 per night. That should get you 4 days (3 nights) for under $1,000. It was a bit cheaper when I stayed there, about $250/night.

@@DaveDackyou are correct! I do apologize I have been booking for different trips and for some reason my device change the currency without noticing I thought it was usd and gasped lol 😅 sorry! One more question, is relative near to a place with a restaurant? Without any intent to offend, I am not super fan of the local cuisine 😅 I know there is a grocery shop near but what about places to have dinner for instance? I just don’t want to eat whale or fermented shark 😅

@@SwanTheQueen no problem! I'm actually not sure about local dining options since I only bought groceries and ate food I brought myself (it was primarily a hiking & photography trip). But I bet there are some good options in the nearby town, which really is very close.

Is it possible to stay at one place and discover all faroe islands by car or is it better to rent multiple accommodations on different islands? Nice video btw!

Thanks! You can easily get around all the islands by car (or ferry for some destinations) from one place. Unless you have a specific reason to try different accommodations, I would just stay in one spot. Cheers!
