My first two cruises were on Norwegian and the food was always exceptional to my memory. My last cruises have been on carnival because I’ve been going with other family members or children but from this video I will be booking a cruise on Norwegian cruise line even if it’s by myself.

I will be cruising on the Getaway 03Nov24 for my birthday and to get the needed 4 latitudes points I'll need after the next cruise which will bring me to the Sapphire level! That cruise will be on the Jade 24Mar25 for a 10 day cruise through the Panama Canal and on to Tampa FL.

Starting in 2025 on the Breakaway, and probably the Getaway too, Shanghai's noodle bar will no longer be complementary. Disappointing because I had the expectation it would be free when I booked my cruise in 2024 for the spring of 2025.

Hi John, it depends on which restaurant. The main dining rooms along with the buffet are all included in the cost of your cabin. If you'd like to try any of the specialty dining restaurants like, Le Bistro, Cagney's or Teppanyaki just to name a few, those are an additional charge. The NCL website should have a full list of the complementary vs. paid options on each of their ships as well as the latest fees. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!

You know, funny you should mention that. I too thought that they must close down at some point and could only say that every time I walked by they were in deed open. To be sure, before I stated that in the video, I did check the NCL website and took them at their word on the hours. See below and thanks for sharing your experiences! It's been nice corresponding with you. "Dine on Irish pub classics while sipping your favorite draft beer, all in a casual atmosphere open 24 hours a day. There's no charge to dig into your favorite comfort foods such as Fish n’ Chips or throw some darts while taking in a sports game."

The steaks at Cagney's Steakhouse are not always WELL DONE! If you order medium rare it comes medium rare!

Yes, that is usually our experience. Paul goes back and forth between rare and medium rare. My mom is always well done and I lean towards Medium Well. However, on the night we ate here my steak was more on the medium rare side and the team there took care of it right away.
