I love how in the game the rangers felt like an actual organization with real people who have their shit together. The exact moment they realize what's happening they immediately begin to go into action to deal with the problem. Which in turn makes the bad guys seem more competent

Fun fact: You could (with secret manipulations and password) get a secret mission in a pokemon ranger game (either the 1st or 2nd) to save a Manaphy egg that you could then transfer to the 4th gen main games. And while we're at it, there was the possibility to transfer a Riolu and a Darkrai from the 2nd game to the main 4th gen games as well with an event. But the Wi-Fi service for ds was shut down years ago, it's impossible now.
