Well I made the soup. Only half recipe bcuz we're only two seniors here. Said it is better the next day so it's be in fridge overnite. But I took a little sip. O M G don't think I made ENOUGH!! Its DE-LISH!! Didn't have licorice bark but used anise instead. Tastes good to me!! 😍

Hi Seonkyoung, the noodles look delicious 😋 As a suggestion, an additional seasoning to bump up the flavour in chinese pork rib soups is five spice powder. Maybe you can try that next time you make this 😊

OK Seonkyoung, tried another recipe of yours.....and giirrlll, I was not disappointed! This was so easy to follow and delicious! But I parboiled the pork ribs first and used 2-3 star anise instead. Mmmmmmmm, "so goood"!(in Seonkyoung voice)

It is kinda combination of galbitang (갈비탕) and noodle(국수) It's an amazing recipe! I think if you do not like a spicy food, it would be better to put soy sauce and oyster sauce instead of spicy ingredients.

These are trying times with the on-going Coronavirus self-imposed lockdowns. What better time than trying different recipes and then storing them in the freezers. Okay... So I can’t find licorice and I’m using star anise - which I love, by the way. Allowing it to stay in the refrigerator overnight has 2 advantages: 1) fat solidified and is therefore easier to discard, and 2) what a difference to the flavoring of stocks and sauces a day makes. Thanks for sharing!

3-4 Tbsp abalone sauce will give a rich base soup. Toppings: Original Taste 1-2 tbsp of fried garlic oil or Chilli Spicy Taste( your home made chilli oil) and a dash of white pepper powder (ajinomoto)
