When do you think Pavo will release an updated version with wifi / app?
@AndrewMurphyFilms3 жыл бұрын
The 6C II works with the Nanlink app. Also the new X series tubes work with the app as well

Is the first shot (where it "appears") at full brightness?
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
I don't think it was, maybe 50%. I barely use it at 100% cause it's too bright

I love the idea and the light but I am so spoiled by the Aputure MC's app and wifi that it would be difficult to think about having to make those changes manually.

Oh dude I know what you mean! This is the only downside to this light, and unfortunately it is a biggie!

Looks awesome and actually bright enough, I had the Yongnuo YN60 and this looks like a better version of that. I looked online and I don't see an Aussie seller but BH sells it for $99 so looks to be around $160 AUD
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
Its definitely bright enough! If I was using it as a keylight i'd set it o 100% but very rarely have I been using it at full brightness. Hopefully some AUS stores will stock it soon enough :)
@PROtogPhotographic4 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewMurphyFilms thanks for a great review. Do you mind if we share your review to our Aussie dealers? Aussie stock has landed, and is now available from stores across Australia for $169. Video Guys (VIC) Urban Cine (SA) Videocraft (NSW and VIC) Digital Camera Warehouse (NSW, VIC, and Qld) and Team Digital (WA) with more adding stock each week.

how to fix the magenta tint in daylight mode?
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
If you need to add tint, you can do that by switching to the G/M section and adding Green or Magenta

There isn't currently a phone app. They are working on releasing one soon.

How’s the light output compared to the yungnuo yn360ii?
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
I don’t have a yn360ii to compare it to sorry

Literally what I’m tryna figure out lol haven’t seen anyone do a comparison.
@Htm4 жыл бұрын
Kendall Wiltz same! Someone needs to take on for the team haha
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
@@Htm I'd say off specs, the yn360ii would be brighter, but the colour accuracy won't be as good. All the Nanlite products I've used have some of the best colour reproduction I've seen in any light I've used.
@Htm4 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewMurphyFilms interesting, I've used the yn360ii a lot recently but haven't picked one up as it's a bit hard to find in stock. I'm digging the features on the Nanlite though, so it's a little tough to decide between the two.

Ooooh damn, there are so many of these now. I was ready to buy the Falcon Eyes F7 then I saw the Boling P1 then I saw the Insstro C1 then just yesterday I discovered the Godox R1... now this. But for real, the mini tube form factor with built in diffusion make this the winner in my eyes. Especially at that price. It's only pre-order on their site at the minute so I might wait to see what it costs in Aussie Dollarydoos from local suppliers.
@AndrewMurphyFilms4 жыл бұрын
Oh man I know your dilemma! So many to choose from now. To be honest if I was going to buy one, I would be buying this. Like you said mainly because of the diffusion. Makes it so much more versatile.
