This year I've absolutely been loving the Hourglass Veil (as always,) The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone, Kat Von D Lock-It Hydrating Base, Smashbox Primerizer and Reduce Redness, Benefit Porefessional and Tarte Timeless Smoothing primers. They make my makeup look amazing and make it last all day. I'm so excited for your foundation favorites! Your foundation reviews have always been my favorite thing to watch.

What foundation did you use it with? I started using Veil based on her recommendation years ago and I was blown away. It makes my pores disappear, smooths all texture, color corrects and makes my foundation last much longer. I don't think I've ever come across someone who didn't love it.

I can’t make the Hourglass Mineral Veil work for me either. It collects in my pores and makes my nose have white polka dots. I keep trying it because everyone seems to love it, but no luck so far.

@@tamaryswolf8062 i hate the Becca i have extremely oily skin and this does nothing for my shine and the consistency is difficult to work with when u have peach fuzz ...it makes me look like i have a shadow above my upper lip makes my foundation patchy. Ive tried to make it work epic fail. Not to mention the weird crumbly balling thing it does ..ive tried using less product, avoiding my peach fuzz above my lip, placing it only on oily areas, patting it into the skin and waiting for it to dry before applying my foundation! Same result oily skin patchy foundation ...worst product ever

Noushin C i use Clinique different GEL moisturizer, works wonderful. Also I use the line at Clinique called Turnaround, I use the lotion and oil, has totally helped with my texture and oil control

I just bought the hourglass primer and HO-LEE SHIZZ....I applied it along with my RCMA foundation before going to run. I ran and I sweat like a horse...yet my makeup didn't budge...only around my hairline faded. I wasn't going to have time to reapply my makeup so I just touched it up and was able to go on with my day and went out for Valentine's day. I've never had a primer that was able to keep the RCMA foundation looking nice for a long stretch of time. When I first applied the primer I didn't think it was anything special until I applied my foundation. Wow... I'm sold

Nikia i tried HG mineral veil primer, EL double wear and slay all day spray on Christmas day, no touch up n cheked myself after the 9th hour mark I’ll admit i look oily cuz im dead oily but no separation. I wear that dermalogica primer by itself,I put a tiny bit of concealer in my dark circle area under my eyes,then apply The Dermalogica primer,then set lightly with the Rimmel Stay Matt powder,then I put a small amount of bronzer,blush,brows and some mascara and it’s looks so fresh and natural!!

Yes. Not it's not the most pore blurring ever, I tend to use a blur stick on the sides of my nose on top of this product but I do feel like my overall makeup looks better when I use the skin tune. Just so you are aware, I have really large pores in that area.

I wonder if Tatcha can repackage their silk canvas primer into a twist-up solid tube like Milk blur stick, hence no need for scoop. Or better, twist-up semi-solid with a special tip like the benefit's girl meets pearl highlighter (better hygiene).

I have used the Benefit Porefessional, Lottie London stick primer, and the BareMinerals primer. Texture wise, the first and last feel the same. But the ones that work with texture and minimizing pores for me, are the first two. Have not tried the ones you suggested. So many options, so this videos help me narrow down what could potentially be a better option for my skin type. Thanks for this tips.

Lala J - I’m light medium with combo skin, and it works well. It does have a beige tint but it doesn’t leave a cast. Also, when you apply your foundation on top you won’t see it. I try to avoid the area around my mouth cause I have dry spots, and just usually use the other cover fx primer, anti-aging, cause it’s moisturizing and helps to keep foundation from cracking on smile lines. Honestly, all the cover fx primers are great. I’ve tried every primer in the market and nothing works as well, not even more expensive ones.

You should try the C & C no glow anti-shine stick! It's similar to the milk makeup blur but so much better and it controls my oils better than any primer I've ever tried.
