HG really are becoming a premium Chinese brand. The design of this model is superbly accurate and the performance is really impressive. We just saw this thing tackle pretty much every type of challenging terrain imaginable and it didn´t disappoint! As ever, I´m astonished at your ability to capture first-class tracking footage while driving the vehicle with the other hand. Something tells me I´ll be watching this video again and again : )

Thanks Del, it's a really well made piece of kit! And I am lucky to have such a perfect spot to run it just down the road. I switched over the Transmitter to a 6 channel 'pistol' type to allow me the one handed driving. It comes with a big 16 Channel Aircraft style one, I've kept that back for a project.

I finally picked one of these up and the first thing i did was break the steering servo in long grass. I have replaced the stock servo with a heavy weight servo but i still have to run the Humvee any distance yet.

I just got mine - I ordered the less expensive kit (still $400). It's unbelievable how heavy and rugged this thing is. With all metal suspension and frame parts, it is surprisingly weighty...

OH they're proud of this one (price)! hopefully it will serve as example for WPL or MN models to create similar and smaller, I may not be much an RC military vehicle fan but DO appreciate this one. I know they'd have to use hub carriers, dog bones, lower A arms and upper rods with the A arms longer anchored nearer center for articulation's sake... means a little compromise to a detail of scale appearance but could be very cool with independent suspension kinda similar to Subotech 1/24 and other 4wd buggies.

Yes, comes with pins to lock the diffs. Although i broke the front diff after 2 runs with it locked. Maybe it was my driving... but something to be aware of

Have you tried switching the sound on via the controller.... you can switch it on and off on one of the channels. The horn when you switch it on is normal

How do you get the steering to work? I just got mine but I have no steering with the right stick.

Had no issues with mine. open up the hood...check the plugs on the receiver (channel 1 it should be)..I think?

Yes, it comes with pins to lock them. Only issue I’ve had recently was the left front diff cup sheared inside the diff. New diff assembly is cheap... and I think with them locked it puts a lot of strain on it if you get it stuck and hit the throttle due to the torque. All fixed now though

can this really do 30kph like is says on the box, i have a vaterra twin hammers with a 13.5 brushless on a 3S lipo that dose 32kph, its not stupid fast but i cant imagine the humvee doing that speed especially with the motor it comes with and how heavy it is.

I GPS'd it at around 12kmh in high gear, so no where near 30. But to be honest, 12 km/h is far more scale for this than 30.

Too expensive, too slow, not a great climber, but looks great. Although in real life Humvees are a coffin for soilders... love the look of it, but functionality wise, it is weak. Basically a pretty girl that can't cook... useless.

It's actually a decent climber, as for the speed... it does around 10mph, the real thing does about 90mph...so pretty scale :)

Out the box it should be aggressive. But details awesome. At that price, that vechicle need to climb a steep hill and save the troops (G.I.Joes) If a figure can't fit in it, not worth buying.
