Lakers need to be smart. Do not give up core pieces for one player. If LeBron makes it out of the West and wins a title with my lakers I am ready to crown him the GOAT. He already came back from 3-1 against a 73 win team if that wasn't GOAT material enough. Now that he's in the West he must go through the 48 win Jazz with DPOY Rudy Gobert, The nuggets with Jokic (best passing centre in quite some time), The pelicans with one of MVP candidate AD, The Spurs and Coach Pop (GCOAT), Twolves with KAT/Butler, The Thunder with the GOAT triple double player threat in MVP Westbrook + PG13 + Melo, Damian Lillard/CJ McCullum and the 3rd place Blazers, Then you have the 65 win Rockets with MVP Harden and Top 5 Point Guard of all time CP3 and perhaps the greatest team of all time in the Warriors who by the way just added a 5th all star in his prime. If he makes it out of the West he should be crowned the GOAT.

You can say he's never lost in a finals but then again he's never beaten a 73 win team in a final series either. That alone will probably never be topped again ever. He's never beaten 5 all stars in one team in their prime in a finals match either which MJ has never done and that LBJ will have a chance to do this year. Eventually their has to be a new GOAT and we could soon be getting one.
