No, sorry. The evidence for echinacia is very poor. The same goes for fasting to end a cold. Sea salt has not been shown to help with a cold. This channel puts out so much nonsense as well as some occasional facts.

I'm surprised ginger didn't make the list. It's one of the best for bacterial infections. When my son came home from school one day he had gastro. I researched what sort of infection it was and found out it was bacterial. I bought ginger and made a ginger concoction. I gave it to him with 1 tsp of raw honey. It fixed his gastro almost immediately. No puking or diarrhea. Prior to giving it to him he threw up 7 times from mouth and back. We were so happy it worked because I couldn't see him suffer like that anymore. Ever since that experience I make and give him ginger concoction when he comes home from school as a safety measure.
@onBview6 ай бұрын
Pls can you share the concoction? Thanks
@annelieseharrison90276 ай бұрын
@@onBview I meant to say decoction. But, you bring water to a boil, add ginger, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-20 minutes. The longer the ginger simmers the more potent it becomes. You can use raw honey or maple syrup as a sweetner.

Sharing Dr Berg notes on this important episode! Viral infection symptoms will be more systemic. If you have a viral infection, you’ll notice more body aches and chills. Bacterial infection symptoms will be localized. Fevers are typically higher with a bacterial infection. A sore throat associated with a viral infection is often accompanied by a runny nose and a cough. If a sore throat is caused by a bacterial infection, you’ll feel more localized pain without a runny nose. A dry cough is associated with a viral infection, while bacterial infections are associated with a productive cough. Respiratory infection, the common cold, flu, bronchitis, and infections involving the sinuses and lungs are generally viral. Pneumonia can be both bacterial and viral A viral infection typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks. A bacterial infection will probably last a bit longer, but this depends on your immune system. Mucus associated with a viral infection is usually clear or white and green or yellow with a bacterial infection. The best viral infection remedies are elderberry and olive leaf extract. For bacterial infections, try garlic, oregano oil, and echinacea. The following remedies for infection work for both viral and bacterial infections: •Take a hot bath or shower/dress warm •Get more sleep •Take zinc, vitamin D, and vitamin C •Fasting •Increase sea salt intake •Improve emotional state •Get more sunlight (UVB and infrared rays) •Take cod liver oil Stress, age, and poor gut health can increase your susceptibility to infection. Refined sugar and other refined foods deplete zinc and vitamin C, also increasing your susceptibility to infection Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

At the first sign of fever ferrum phos tissue salt. Aconite/ Bryonia for anything sudden onset. Belladonna if high fever. Bryonia for cold/ cough. Nux vomica for indigestion Cantharis/ calendula for burns. Recently kali Bic 200 helped my daughters cough in few doses. Wish people knew of these gem of remedies :(

This remedy is better than antibiotics. Wishing you all full and speedy recovery.

If we go along the lines of "Terrain Theory" each individual immune system will differ slightly based on what nutrition...[or lack of in some people's cases] people put in their bodies. When the body builds up too much Bacterial Load/Toxins...roughly twice a year [for an average healthy person] the body will go from a state of "Ease"...to..."Dis-Ease"...or "Disease". Symptoms Can Include: . Sore Throat . Swollen Glands . Shivering . Fever . Tender Muscles . Weakness . Dizziness . Sweating . Vomiting . Diarrhea ...basically [Flu-Like Symptoms] and so according to "Terrain Theory", it's a bit like a garden's soil-quality...how you treat your soil...i.e. "the nutrients you feed that soil" will determine the health of your garden...and the same applies to your body. The "DIS-Ease symptoms of the body [although very unpleasant to go through] is merely the body's way of purging toxins from it's system to maintain a state of "Ease/Balance" again....

He may very well be correct about carbs food helping the virus take hold, as the next day after falling off the keto wagon, my cold took hold. I had sea salt yesterday morning and felt better for it - only had as he said on another video that vit c (citric acid) probably works because of the acid, and salt creates HCL. But I find what he says about the difference between a virus and bacterial infection, contradictory, as symptons of both can be present - having a cold but bringing up coloured phlegm.
