The ironic thing is that these lightsaber "toys" are also a more affordable option as lightbars for filmmakers and photographers. A single color lightbar used for light painting in photography or small colored illumination in filmmaking, can cost up to $75-150, while these lightsabers with their RGB LED's will cost a mere $50.

The thing is, these aren't lightbars, they don't have LEDs in the blade itself. For that you'd need a NeoPixel Saber, which start at around $200, and the blade alone already costs $80, so as expensive as a proper lightbar.

Got one of these at dynamic sabers. What an absolute gem. It was 93 euros (around 5300 peso's). Enjoying the saber so much. Its my first ever lightsaber. When I was younger I saw the neighbours play with the cheap plastic toystore things. I was never really interested, but I was now. I figured I would defenately go for a high quality collectors item worth the price. Not dissapointed in the slightest

Yea RGB lightsabers like these are meant for duelling as the blade is sturdy and can take a lot of impact

The lightsabers I got at target were the Hasbro’s Buildsabers they were RGB, they weren’t the brightest but they were AMAZING for dueling unless you slammed them to hard

I got these from Alibaba crapped out on me in less than 2 months. I have a sneaking suspicion it's the battery because whenever I leave one of them to charge it creates a noxious smell that I'm incredibly sure is dangerous if anyone knows videos on how to replace the batteries for these models let me know because I will do so

Mines from Taobao which basically is probably the same one you see on AliExpress. Now I can't say I have a solution regarding the battery as I haven't received mine yet but when I purchased mine I was told by the seller that I must charge it with a 5V1A charger and cannot use a charger larger than 5V2A, I don't know the reason why but that's what I was told. Since I intend to scrap the saber for parts. I will have to disassemble it and examine the internals myself.
