Nice to see you visiting where I live.. on the Sunshine Coast.. I'm by the beaches a bit south of where you visited. But we visit Cooroy every week and Eumundi etc, every now and again.. 😅 ❤

That mountain is Mt Cooroora and it used to have a foot race to the summit called “King of the mountain” which Midnight Oil wrote the song “King of the mountain” about. You definitely need to venture a little bit further north up here to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach.

You missed the Majestic(?) theatre in Pomona, the longest running silent picture theatre in the world. It is worth buying a ticket. Cheer the hero, boo and hiss the villain. Great fun.

We drove past it but wasn’t filming and it looked incredible! We’ll be going back for sure 🙌

My old property I lived in had a jacaranda tree, macadamia tree and a lemon tree. Macadamia nuts are the best nuts. 👍

I remember on the back of island at Coochiemudlo island walking in the shallows and a few times we had small stingrays swim right past our feet.They just blended in well with sand in the water. Didn't put us off swimming there.

Queenslands weather is amazing and it also has so many hidden gems, the beaches as well as the hinterland. Seeing that ray was a treat. Have several Jacaranda trees on our property and on our street, they are beautiful during the flowering season. Great vlog as always, love seeing Picco.

Great content guys. Take a trip to Montville in the Hinterland, it's a quaint little town with fantastic views over the coast. Or try a journey to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve which has a fascinating rainforest walk.

In the north-west as a teenager, I bent down to pick up a stick in the shallows - when it suddenly shot away! It was a stingray buried in the sand. Glad he moved faster than me!!

The lake is not as salty as the ocean, it gets fresh as you go further up the river. The everglades are really nice for a kayak up to and past Harrys hut. On the other side of the lake is Noosa North shore which is a 4wd beach were you can camp.

Looked a lot like a Leopard ray to me, But there are si many different colours , shapes & Sizes in the Rays along our coastline.Not agressive unless stood on or feel threatened as in Steve Irwin's case.

That stingray is a Leopard Whip Ray and according to Wikipedia can grow to 5 feet across and a tail length of 13 feet. It has stingers in its tail but not poisonous. Interestingly Wiki claims it is only found in Northern Australia and SE Asia, so what it is doing as far south as the Sunshine Coast I don't know.

Really interesting video. Australia is such a large landmass that there's always something new to explore, and the places you went in this video are definitely new for some of us. The Australian Tourism Industry Council should be paying you for the great promotional work. With a special Picco adorable-ness cash bonus, of course.

Lettuce. Doesn’t. Ruin a burger lettuce. Makes. A burger. That’s a weird thing to say.
@EatVentureVlog11 күн бұрын
I also used to think lettuce made the burger, I think so at maybe a bbq but a good burger for me is the patty, cheese sauce and hun. Such a classic 🙌

As beautiful as they are, jacarandas are not native to Australia. They are native to Brazil & South America.
