I flew in Delta One on the A350 from DTW-AMS and back last July. It was a great experience, but finding award availablity or a good deal for the Delta suite is very hard.

Love the shoulder straps just like in my small plane. Did you order your food when you bought the ticket? Did you buy your tickets via the Delta website or another one?

I ordered food ahead of time. Delta sent me an email about a week and a half before departure with a link to select from the menu. I bought my tickets directly from Delta. I have no idea why they were so cheap on that specific day, but I was glad I spotted it.

Yes it's an impressive product for what is, after all, a domestic flight. The J class to beat is, according to airline experts and corporate travellers, is Qatar Airways' Q-Suite. As for the fare you paid it's often the case that a price *via* a hub can be cheaper than a fare from the hub itself. Certainly that's often the case here in Europe with long-haul international flights.

That's often what I've found, though the price for the same routing on the surrounding days was still in the $1,400 range.

Like it, however, when you fly across the Pacific Korean Air🇰🇷 followed by China Airlines🇹🇼 China Eastern and Xiamen Air🇨🇳 Vietnam Airlines gives Delta one a run of its money. On the Atlantic Ocean side it's KLM🇳🇱 and Air France🇫🇷 vs Delta One. There is a reason to have Delta Airlines got them in the first place they canceled their B787-8 orders inherited from Northwest Airlines. In return for This A350 and A330neo
