@@Ragnarok540 branded fusion is a searchable foolish burial with upside, and nadir servant or the one despia fusion monster (granguinol or something?) can also offer a lot of utility with certain ED cards, like sending a red-eyes zombie dragon lord to grave and then bringing it back to be able to get a monster reborn effect. You lose out on synchro plays on your first turn, but you replace it with some very powerful cards. Also, the deck can't even synchro all that well compared to other synchro decks since Halq was banned.

​​​​@@thewildmage36 try zombie world punk, garura gives you a level 8, a draw, beatrice, and a zombie foolish off the punk combo thanks to ghost fusion of all things Basically you make dragon drive and search psychic tracker and revive ze amin to make immortal dragon, send ghost sleeper to search ghost fusion, fuse immortal on field and changshi from deck for garura, revive changshi and foolish a zombie, make beatrice, use Beatrice for something like banshee and balerdroch and detaching garura gives you a draw

Yo Josh I doubt you'll see this, bu I've been labbing Bystial Spright Synchro for a few weeks prior to the cards getting added to Master Duel and I thought I'd share my list. I think it plays very smoothly and can adapt its lines pretty easily to interruption (such as an oponnent's bystials). It helps that your opponent probably isn't going to know the combo lines and thus what to hit. I'll also post this list on your other videos in hopes that you see it cause the deck is very fun to play. Currently, the deck has a ~46% chance of opening 1-2 ways to assualt synchron (the deck's key card imo) via itself or tuning, a ~52% chance of opening 1-2 of the six bystials, and a ~5% shot of hitting 2 of the bricky one-offs (Driver, Angler, or the Branded Spell/Traps) in the opening hand. If you want to trim the deck down, Shinobi Necro, Branded Beast, and then 2 of the non-engine cards would be what I'd target, as they rarely come up. - 2 Spright Starter is used in-case you mill it off of tuning/chaos ruler; it also makes for a good opener/extender in situations where your bystial or synchro lines get interrupted. If you need the second one, it can be made live by using regained to recycle blue or jet. - Effect Veiler and Gamma are used to inflate the number of light monsters in the deck so that the bystials and chaos ruler remain live. Other benefts include effect veiler being live if you draw it during your opponent's turn off regained (as opposed to something like imperm which would be dead) and gamma providing a free chaos ruler if your opponent fires maxx c or ash in response to tuning or the bystials. The deck can get by with just 6 light monsters, especially in a dark dominated format like current master duel, so swap out the gammas if you'd like. Cupid Pitch being a light monster also helps with this. - Nimble package chosen for several reasons. First, it gives the deck a good normal summon, which it would otherwise lack. Second, it provides a nice sprind target, which can help with extending your combo through interuptions. Third, while it is a water, hitting angler on chaos ruler can make chaos ruler worth it even if it hits no lights or darks. The frog package, in contrast, doesn't provide as strong an advantage swing when milled via chaos ruler or tuning and encourages going into gigantic over sprind, which would lock you into level 2s. - Melffy package is used due to strongly increasing the ceiling of your endboards without much cost in the main or extra deck. Pretty much all your combo lines (Pure Spright, Spright + Assualt, Bystial + Assualt, Spright + Bystial) have the option to branch into the melffy endboard. If you hit a melffy off of chaos ruler or tuning, then there are other branches you can take instead to achieve pretty strong boards. You can also consider running melffy pony (adds from the GY) for these situations, though I think its not worth it. - 1 Gigantic Spright used due to the deck only really needing it to get to Spright Blue in situations where you open nimble beaver or a level 2 + a spright name. Gigantic also locks you into level 2s, which can sometimes cut you off from combos when other extenders like Sprind do not. If you run the frog package instead of the nimble package, I'd favor running 2 gigantic instead. - Hope Harbinger is functioning as a replacement endboard piece until the deck gets Dis Pater. You make it using Lubellion (summoned by tributing Chaos Ruler) and a Chaos Ruler that has been revived via assualt synchron's effect usually. Despite being an improvised endboard piece, it fits surprisingly well into the deck. It provides attack protection for your weaker spright cards through its attack redirection effect and makes sprind live. It can also produce a 4 mat Zeus if it eats a spell card and doesn't need to use its detach effect. - I.P + Apollousa is being used to provide a way to trigger druiswarm's GY effect during the opponent's turn and just generally utilize the bodies Regained gives you. After ishizu been limited hard, the meta is quite balance. Tear Ishizu is not as broken and not that consistent anymore. Not only tear ishizu have only 2 shuffler and 3 miller, it also lost 2 foolish burial good, lost 2 king of the swamp and lost terraforming. Combine 2 month ago banlist and current banlist tear Ishizu deck lost a lot. Ishizu card is not good anymore and it should return original route as a support for gravekeeper deck. However, tear as fusion summon engine is not dead and current can be used by branded deck thank to branded fusion allow to triple or quaraple fusion summon from one single branded fusion activation. However between branded tear and branded bystial, better go for Branded bystial as it have a lot card negation and interruption. Cannot easily defeated by only 1 ash blossom like branded tear. Also branded still can function normally even your Extra deck been rip, compare to branded tear if alba Zoa or lithosaygm rip your extra deck monster, you probably lose the match.

Watching this, I confirm my first pull was very lucky: 5URs, including Sprind, Garura, Magnamhut, Rindbrum and the Hero. Second pull gave me Lubellion and Bucephallus, and the free pack fron the trial duel event a glossy Lubellion. I am still missing Cartesia, Grandguinol, Sargas and Alba Zoa, and the SR bystials, but I can't complain.

I needed the bystials for DLINK and needed sargas and garura as well I opened 90 packs to pull one lubellion and 2 magnahmut I pulled 7!!! neos alias and 4 of the Abyss Actor UR had to craft the rest of the ones I needed except I still have not crafted the sprind and the garura at least that one lubellion I pulled was royal rare and one of the crafted ones got foil which is kinda funny

Springans is super cheap and really fun, for URs you need 1+ regulus, 1-2 exablower, 2 champion sargas, and stuff like good ranks 4s, IP+unicorn etc. The SRs are also not a lot, IIRC just merrymaker, tally ho, and branded in high spirits package if you wanna run it

with branded and how tear is hit i think branded bystial is the best deck now. tear is just so bricky now that the ishizu cards basically are dead in hand as you hardly ever draw a shuffler plus another ishizu card. also branded fusions not being a ur challange impossible. the day branded plays a non ur in it's extradeck is the day master duel shuts down

Just play more starters and stick to 40, between reinoheart, perlereino, rota, goods, and supreme sea mare you have up to 9 guaranteed starters, and you can still pop off with good mills off havnis, sceiren, and ishizu

@@jimtsap04 well i would never play more than 40 and did try to make it more consitent but every 3rd hand bricks or loses to 1 hand trap. i now swapped to branded bystial tear. with branded in high spirits searching cartesia while making kitkalos from any tear without normal summon and branded fusion as must negate while milling 2 of saronier, branded fusion and retribution to add branded fusion to hand from grave you get far better hands.

This is because tear ishizu have to really kitkalos most of time to get the mill. If this kitkalos been banish by Bystial it is game over for tear Ishizu because your lose 80% of milling capability of your deck. That why most tear switch to branded and go for Branded tear but branded tear is vulnerable a lot of generic handtrap because it really branded fusion to resolve to get triple or quaraple fussion summon. Tear Ishizu is not dead but is hard to play, since the limited and banlist hit this deck a lot and take count 2 month ago limited 1 copy foolish burial good and king of the swamp, which make tear ishizu deck even more lost.

@@xenonim have you played branded tear? then you would know that branded in high spirits is the best card in the deck. not only can you search branded fusion if you reveal saronir but 1 of the tear girls gets you into kirkalos without having a monster on field and therefore bystials aren't life for that first fusion not even speaking how good cartesia is. branded fusion is just the inevitability the opponent has to deal with while seeing you do full tear combo

@@Ragnarok540 going first yeah it's usually one of the 3+dpe. Saying no to opponent shit is yu-gi-oh in general these days lmao. The fun is in going second so many plays, masked hero blast returning set cards in end phase, dodging targeting and field effects like skill drain using mask change or increase in spell and trap zone and dpe best boi and board wipe with mask change zero into acid and easy otk with sunrise or dread decimator or Trinity and honest. Ok i get the Darklaw hate but everything else seems fine and fun Plasma alone is low attack get over it the only reason Plasma even survives is dpe. Get over it or around it, that's yu-gi-oh in general getting around to win despite your opponent's monsters saying no (that's just how the game is) but i understand Darklaw hate shits on alot of decks and consistent Darklaw wasn't a thing until wakeup which by the way just dropped. Dark Angel is link material or just tribute over it.
