Hello! After i saw your enclosure a few weeks ago, I’ve been obsessed with the grass wall idea but i cannot for the life of me find any photos or tutorials when i try to search if anyone else has done something similar. Would you pretty please go more into detail on your set up? 🥹

@@aiyon666 I bought the grass panels from my local hobby lobby. I used zip ties to attach them together. I got the led neon light strip at 5 below and attached that with zip ties as well. Basically just manipulate it into whatever shape you want and zip tie as you go. I used command hooks to hang it inside of the enclosure.

I made it! Thank you so much for including the Tasmanian Tree Frog (Litoria burrowsae) tank :D The thing at the back on the right is a Man Fern trunk that is hollowed and hides the pump for the waterfall on the left (so I can reach in behind and remove it for maintenance). The left is a bunch of Dragon Stone stacked and glued with moss planted on it for the waterfall. The main base with the plants inside is a series of stacked insulation foam carved to shape, and then coated. Also, the silicon circles were hard!! 😅 Thanks again, your videos are always so wonderful, and these subscriber tanks with commentary are really educational and fun too!

Thank you for showing Pew’s enclosure! I struggled so much with the enclosure and I was so disheartened when Pew kept destroying the plants. It made me happy to realize he could have a nice enclosure that he seems to enjoy even with mostly artificial greenery. I got the idea of burying the hide from one of the BioDude’s videos. I love the way it looks! Thanks again and keep on doing what you do. I enjoy your videos so much!

Sicker_thanmost here lol! My IJ is sassy as hell, big huffer/puffer haha. I made the stone hide with a 16”x16” slate tile siliconed to a few bricks to keep it up off the ground. He loves to use it for basking, or hiding under and it keeps his nails trimmed too :)

I have quite a few of the rock ledges - they are magnetic and come in various colors. The company is Magnaturals and they can be hard to find but thankfully my local reptile shop carries a good variety of colors, sizes, etc. They also do hides that are the same aesthetic (hangs magnetically) and food dishes. Edit: I can confirm that the cactus hide you called out is in fact being sold at Petsmart.

Hi Elle! I got a IHG conversion kit for my crestie and set it up bioactive. Unfortunately I can't figure out the best way to keep it warm. It stays 72-73 consistently in the tank as it is, do I need to warm it up a bit more? If so, how? What works through the glass?

@@ellesreptiles I carved the background out of styrofoam, than painted it black and brused white paint over it. Than I used epoxy to seal it and used some coco fiber. So it was a whole proces, but it was worth it 😊

I love your videos, Elle. I could use your help if that’s ok. Yesterday I was at a friend of a friends house. They had a baby leopard gecko and long story short the enclosure was terrible and the gecko was underweight and didn’t look to good. So I offered to buy it because I couldn’t in good conscience leave it there. Luckily they let me buy it and I immediately left and rushed to a pet shop to buy all the things it needed. I set up the enclosure quickly and was able to slowly get it warmed back up because the tiny enclosure they had it in had no heat and I live in Georgia so it’s cold here right now. I stayed up as late as I could to keep a eye out but I was nervous I’d wake up to a dead gecko because it was pretty touch and go but I’m relieved to say It ate 2 small crickets I dusted with calcium powder this morning and I’m waiting to see if it poops so I can make sure it’s digesting things well. I’ve owned leos over the years and I have other reptiles so I have a good grasp on what I’m doing but would you have any extra advice on nursing this baby back to health? I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to give this little one a fighting chance

Hi! It sounds like you're doing everything right. 💜 You've gotten him the things he needs and are monitoring him. Leopard geckos are very resilient, so hopefully with the correct care moving forward, he'll be ok. You got him to eat a little, so that's great. And it's good that he has heat now. Definitely make sure he has access to water and maybe a calcium dish in case he needs the extra nutrients
