Thanks for the review! I’m not sure if Flash is playing with his ball yet. It does move around the tank but I haven’t actually seen him play with it. I also got him a ferret tunnel and he does play in that. That is for his out of tank play time.

Thank you so much for reacting to my tank! (Spook is very happy hehe 🙃) I did start seeing signs of metabolic bone disease in him and I give him his vitamins, both calcium and multi vitamins. I don’t know how I can help, I feel like it’s getting worse every day. 😔 (also I did make the cave in the back corner 😜)

I hope Spook is recovering from MBD if he does have it. If you haven't already, I would definitely take him to an experienced reptile vet. MBD is how I sadly lost my chameleon.

Hi! Just to say that I ordered your universal aquarium boots several days ago. I plan to use them for my extra large bearded dragon enclosure. I know that they are only meant for smaller enclosures, but I’m going to try it out anyway, and assume all risk myself. The tank is 4’x2’x4’ (LxWxH) Zen Habitat. I plan to make it with at least two levels inside. I will let you know how well the boots hold up to the eventual weight of this extra large enclosure and all the furniture, decor, lights, etc. for your future reference. Think of me as one of your product testers. I purchased them not really for elevating my enclosure, but rather, for keeping it from sliding off of the coffee table. I’m going to Velcro or possibly glue the boots to a large coffee table. Yes, I might be crazy. But if it works, it will be awesome!

I'm old!!! 😋 Been keeping and loving snakes fer about 45 years now. I really enjoy your videos and learning all the new stuff. I starting way back when. No PCs! I read the comment multiple times and went back and watched that part, and was just trying to figure out if I was missing something 😅😂 But yea, I have an absolutely terrible memory for movies (honestly just a terrible memory for most things😅). So anytime Den asks me if I've seen a movie, I always say no, even if we watched it yesterday. But then when he asked again I said I had but don't remember that much. Lion King was actually one of the only Disney movies I watched as a kid. And that's awesome about your beardie!

I was thinking of getting an eastern blue tongue skink, (Done lots of research) and I was wondering if a 4 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 2 feet tall enclosure would be a good size or if I should go bigger?

4x2x2 is good, but if you can go even bigger, your skink will appreciate it! 😊

Is it okay if my UVB light only spans across the half of my 48x24x24 with the heat/basking area? On the “cool side” of the tank, it doesn’t reach. Kinda worried, should I upgrade it or is it totally fine? Btw, love y’all!

I would definitely recommend upgrading when you can. In the wild, they have the sun - which shines everywhere. So they can pick a cooler or warmer area to hang out, and still get that UVB. We just want to sort of replicate that in their tanks, so having more options makes him more comfortable. He's still getting the UVB when he basks, so it's not something you have to go out and buy immediately, but definitely do it when you can. 😊
