I _really_ like the "organic" faction (is it SWI?) that takes over other ships and repair them with their black/blue, purple and "flesh" coloured shapes. I don't know how practical it is, but it looks amazing. Their original designs are deliciously disturbing, and I love the general idea of "infecting" rather than building.

@@LastStandGamers Homeworld is an oldie but goodie. It still looks and feels amazing despite it's age. Highly recommended. It's usually pretty cheap on Steam.

Adagio for strings number 11 still stirs my heart to this day. To watch a world that housed your people die in such a fashion. To know that you must press on and save what is left regardless of the horror before you. Incredible game it broke so many molds.

Loved the video LastStandGamers! I never expected to see players actually build Starships from Star Trek before now. I've seen them as Creations up for grabs on the Workshop via Captain Jack but never for a Server event like now. The ships that we saw at the Federation Starbase were a Klingon Bird of prey, a Starfleet Miranda-class Starship, Standard Configuration, and what I think was either an Excelsior-class Starship or The USS Enterprise from the Movies by J. J. Abrams. I wonder what other Starships they were going to build at some point?

Why dont you ask people to name their grids with BASE in the name first, then everything else with just the faction name? [BASE] (ABC) Shoopdawhoop Base, then just (ABC) Mega Miner for mining ships etc. That way you would just have all the BASEs together on the list with way less searching...
