Qtron+ might have the prestige looped to control output volume since it’s 24v DC. A lot more than every other Pedal. It’s a maybe lol.

I have a feeling the box it later turns on the OD circuit in the ODS. In some examples of his tone it’s sometimes really clean and sometimes just a bit of hair on but it’s not the normal klon or ts like gain. It could also be the BB but it sounded the same earlier in the tour when the Mesa was there.

Although I am certain that he is using the 29 Yuna as a buffer, he might be using the JHS Prestige Boost as a buffer as well (that's what it does in the 0 - 25% range) because I believe it is on as well (lt also looks like its in that range). I own one and the light is light blue so it's hard to tell in these photos but it might be on. Makes sense to have two buffers spaced evenly with this massive board? Just a theory.

Hey Justin - since you're into trainers as well, do you what model John used at the concert with DRH and Scary Goldings? Thanks!

3:25 Very clearly those stickers have a clock on them indicating the position that the knob is supposed to be in for his tech and himself.

Came here to say exactly this. Especially for one knob pedals, much easier to get bumped out of place.

They don’t! You can see the super clean has the settings marked where it’s set with a white marker/pen, it’s not where either line in the circle is pointing. The markings are more of an X in a circle of some sort

@@JustinJeske damn you’re thorough. Maybe a range of operation depending on the stage?

I would bet this is a logo from someone who does mods; the stickers appear graphically the same on both pedals.

It is obvious that you are obsessed with John Mayer and John Frusciante. Have you ever taken a deep dive into their influences and then their influences? Both of them were hugely influence by Jimi Hendrix. Especially the Axis Bold as Love album. John Mayer took a deep dive into SRV. SRV and Jimi we both into Elmore James, Albert King. There is an endless amount of music out there to discover. Why focus all of your energy on two people?

I didn’t realize that what I talk about on my Channel represented all of my energy and my only influences

What does it matter if he likes John Mayer a lot? What if he’s his absolute favorite guitar player? That’s ok. Lol

Old school stuff, guys used to kinda hide the ways they achieved their sounds (evh for example) John is just following that legacy.

The sooner you Mayer freaks learn that a players tone comes from his hands, the better tone you will all have... YOUR TONE !!! YAY !!!

Took me a long time to realize this. Went through a huge Mayer phase in high school where I was obsessed with his tone and playing. Fully went down the gear rabbit hole, only to realize that I could never actually be or replicate JM's playing or tone. Once I had that lightbulb moment and shifted my focus to playing, I realized I got 85%-90% of the way with a similar playing style, a regular ole tube screamer and a fender style amp. These days, I don't lean too hard into any of my heroes cause I know that I can't be them and ultimately at the end of the day, I want to continue to find my own voice on the guitar, as should everyone. It's totally okay to borrow techniques, phrases or certain elements of a player you look up to - inspiration is good, but obsession is too far folks! Besides, it's much more fun to be yourself anyway. Great comment, cheers
