So this was my first year doing Thanksgiving by myself and thanks to you it was a success . I used quite a few of the key recipes needed for Thanksgiving and BABBBBBYY my peoples was shook. I made these for a friend's birthday dinner two days ago & they were fabulous! I tweaked the broth but followed the rest of the recipe precisely. Well, with the exception of the cooking time which spilled into several hours to become tender! I missed the part about returning them to the oven for a spell without the pan drippings while making the gravy! I made a turkey broth with the wing tips, (a flavorless disappointment). So I added two teaspoon each of Better Than Bullion in Chicken, Mushroom, and Beef flavors to four cups of water. The extra water to balance salt in the bullion and ass well as the ENTIRE pantry of seasonings that I added e.g Montreal Chicken, smoked paprika, poultry, thyme red pepper flakes, garlic & herbs mix, parsley. Basically everything but celery salt/seeds which I didn't have. I also added regular paprika throughout for color, especially as I turned them. The beef flavor was a home run with the color and flavor I was looking for! I used another commenters suggestion to absorb the fat with (three) bread slice! I think I'll freeze & skin it next time or buy a separator. These were truly exceptional!!! Scrumpdilyicious!!! Better than my favorite restaurant's AND I'm $18 richer! And my first time making them!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Coop!!! Whoop! Whoop! And I, too, made them with rice, candied yams and spinach! The gravy was so good my friend ate half the gravy in the pan over rice while I returned the wangs to the oven for another 3 hours!

nice thank you, you can use a turkey baster to remove the fat by placing the baster on top and gently squeeze, you can also put it in the freezer and the fat will solidify

Wow, this was excellent! 👏👏👏Looks fabulous. I use the crockpot without the flour and it's so simple! Less labor-intensive and you can have delicious wings in less than 45 minutes. I made a video and put on my channel if you want to see what I personally used.
